As good as any can possibly be as it is hard to rate a 5 for such an emotional experience. Rivera’s facilities - chapel in Santa Fe and meeting areas were beautiful. They carefully led us through important questions that let us resolve all areas. Day-of they were caring, kind careful and great. It was an emotional time but they let us take it where it needed to go. Thank you.
Being the only family owned funeral service provider makes a difference. There is no corporate quota to meet, staff members treat the families they serve as members of their own family. From the moment a loved one is entrusted to Rivera's care, meeting with the family to make and finalize funeral arrangements, overseeing the funeral services, and even after the services, Rivera Family Funerals and Cremations follows up with after care to check on the family left behind knowing that just because the funeral is over everything ends there. Caring like only a truly family owned business does. They serve the community in many ways. Rivera Family Funerals and Cremations works hard to earn and keep a family's most precious and sacred trust. Corporations are more concerned about the bottom line, and not after care. I definitely highly recommend Rivera Family Funerals and Cremations.
After my sister passed, Bill Roybal helped me through the process of managing her affairs in a very thoughtful and professional manner. When Bill was out for surgery, other staff members filled in to make sure I got the attention I needed to get things done. I do not have much experience with funeral home costs, but they seemed reasonable to me with no surprises.
I was immediately impressed with the integrity and professionalism of the staff. From the first phone call to the funeral reception, the care was first class. The concern and sympathy displayed as well as the time spent with the family to make the perfect arrangements and understand our desires was very important. From start to finish, Rivera Family Funeral Home did an excellent job. Thank you!
Everyone we met at Rivera was amazing in our time of sadness, especially Paul Vigil and Tiffany Cross. They made us feel special, they devoted their time and attention, and this freed us to focus on our mother and celebrate her life. The Kiva Chapel is one of the most beautiful spaces I have ever been in and provided the place for a perfect ceremony. From start to finish we could not have hoped for a better experience in the saddest moment of life.
Funeral Specialist, Paul Vigil, was very professional and sympathetic to our needs. Nicole McKnight went above and beyond to make this difficult time as smooth as possible. All the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I want to thank Mario and the team for the excellent work they did during this difficult time for my family. Thanks to the help and support everything was smoother and easier. They treat me and my family like if they are part our family. God bless your life and that of your family. Hector.
