Came across this nice lil park to sit and watch birds, fish and launch your boat. Has a playground for kids. Not much places to park but very relaxing.
This was our first time discovering this park.... Parking totally sucked, due to so many parties but once parking was figured out we loved our experience. We saw so much wildlife.. going back today
Very cool little trails for the kids and adults alike. Enjoyable environment and beautiful scenery. Love all the ducks and cranes at the park. Playground: Very well kept and clean. Restrooms: Clean and well kept. Dog-friendliness: Cool dogs and cool people friendly dogs. Picnic area: Very well shaded and plenty tables for multiple families :
Small but beautiful park with a boardwalk along Hillsborough River is a lovely place to watch ibis and other birds with an occasional alligator. There's a play ground for the kids too.
It's a great free local park and fantastic for watching the sunset.
This park is a nice chill spot for you and the family. There is plenty of shade and there's an actual beautiful memorial right next to it. Right now there is caution tape around one of the palm trees because it was uprooted from Hurricane Ian but besides that a nice park!! Playground: The playground has quite a few things for the kids to play on unlike original parks where is just a couple of swings and it slide. This park has wind chimes or sounds, it has obstacles to go through, ropes to climb and swings for all ages. Restrooms: The restrooms are usually unlocked but they are locked today probably because staffing hasn't got the chance to come out and clean them I suppose. Dog-friendliness: Yes this park is pet friendly you can bring your dog out here to walk around the park and they have Waste post with doggy bags in the box provided around the park so you can pick up after your pet.
A nice little park in the Temple Terrace area with a fantastic view of the Hillsborough River! I just wish the board walk is longer so one could savor the view! Perfect for a late afternoon walk!
I love Riverhills Park. The downsides are people parking in places they shouldn't and the amount of trash that can get piled up here. Probably needs more trash cans or more frequent servicing. Great birding location.
The children all love the playground but it can be pretty dirty. Trash on the ground and the picnic tables always have bird poop on them. Otherwise, it's a great park. The bathrooms, now that is another story in itself. One word...gross.
Such a gem of a park with beautiful views tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Includes a boat ramp, playground, picnic tables, boardwalk and a pier. Lots of birds to watch and beware of alligators.
