This is a good camping spot for any motorcyclist traveling the 555 or any of the good local roads. it has a few areas for tent groups. I did not bring my motorhome, but i have been to many campgrounds and i do not get hung up on the 'perfect' campground. I key on the owners and workers at the spot and the owner/care taker that was there that night took care of us and gave flavor to the experience. We fished, ate, and drank and then hit the local roads the next morning. This is one of those campgrounds that need to exist. just like we like to stop at Mom-m-Pop food places, you need to stop here to keep them going.
Called 3 times. Left messages. Never got a return call, sad because we really wanted to rent there
Great Campground!!! The owner is a very nice and understanding person. If you're visiting Coolville or you live here and are looking for a new campground I HIGHLY recommend Rivers bend campground :-
We rolled in with 5 motorcycles. Owner was very friendly and accommodating. He gave us a tour of the grounds and said "I have just the spot for you", complete with picnic tables, power outlets for our chargers, and overhead string lights. A great weekend destination!
I dont actually stay here but I use the boat ramp many times a year. The campground seems really nice with bathrooms and shower on-site. Keep up the great work Mike.
Customers beware of this owner. We paid full a summer lot in full that was middle of February 2017. Now two weeks before opening the season ,they call me and inform us that we can't have the lot that we paid for. And he had another lot to look at. Then we look at the lot, it was mudd hole that they they tried to cover with straw. I told him that I wanted I the lot that we paid for. He told me that I wasn't going to get it. And he had already reserve it for someone else. I ask him to show who reserved the lot first He said did not have to prove who reserve the lot first and there was nothing I can't do it about it then I told the owner I want my money back he said that he could not refund my money till other campers paid for there lots what great way to treat disabled veteran PLEAS BE CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH THE OWNER
It's quiet here and you have access to the river if you have a boat or jet ski. But if something breaks it's impossible to find the owner or someone who works here to fix it.
Great time with old friends, great music, good food, just like going home.
