Riverside RV Campground

We first visited Riverside in Summer of 2020 and instantly fell in love with it. When the opportunity to become seasonal members arose it was a no-brainer. When we’re not relaxing at our site, you’ll usually find us at the pool, chatting around the bon fire or dancing the night away at the pavilion. We had an amazing first year as seasonals in 2021 and can’t wait for 2022!

Since the change in ownership, the campground has become a great place to spend the season. Have been coming here starting in 2011, and became seasonal the following year. The new owners are investing so much and expanding the number of sites. Improvements are looking positive and I look forward to seeing the next updates to the park. 14 years and I am looking for many more to come.

We stayed for couple of days. Was wonderful. Nice peoples. Had a lot of fun. Stayed at one of the Bunkies. We loved the pool and the party on Saturday. Would definitely go there again.

Please never stay here, worst service you will ever encounter by management. Our puppy and ourselves were almost attacked by a seasonal dog owner that didn't have his dog's lashes on. They were two great Danes, and he didn't even apologize. When complained to the manager on site, he said that we were lying and that those dog's wouldn't have done that. We were also acussed of other things that we didn't do. We felt like we were in a twilight zone. Plus the place is really run down, our RV had no hot water, and the AC kept on going off. This was the most terrible experience in our lives. We've stayed at the point and ridge, and have had the most memorable experience ever.

We visited Riverside because friends were seasonal campers there. We loved it right from the moment we entered the gates. It's a lovely campground with generous sized sites and if you like kayaking the way we do, you have easy access to the Skootamatta River! We were weekend campers that first season, by season 2 we became seasonal campers -- It is our respite, our sanctuary from the cacophony of the "every day". We should mention too that the men who find and visit Riverside are the best. Everyone is so nice and always willing to lend a hand.

Love this place. Being a new seasonal member we couldn’t have been happier with our choice of campgrounds. Even though we are much closer to another campground we found the reception at this campground far superior than that of another closer to our home. The new owners are wonderful and involved in every aspect of the park. The day-to-day management is exceptional things are clean and tidy and well organized. Calls and responses are answered swiftly by the owners and management regarding any concerns. I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a wonderful leisure destination. Make the right choice and make this your seasonal go-to for the summer of 2022.

This in response to the person that said Riverside is "RUN DOWN"! REALLY??? HMM, the new owners have expanded the pool,2 new gazebos, new patio furniture, put in a volleyball court, 2 new bbqs ,washer and dryer, they have also expanded the park for new sites, and they got rid of the eye sore called a cottage and they bought 3 brand new trailers as well as fixed a few water leaks, an they even painted the pool. The grass is cut every week. The roads were also redone this year. The park has never looked so good. Its obvious you have mistaken the park from when the previous owners had it.

Decided at the last minute to give Riverside RV Campground a go. I emailed and was answered quickly with confirmation. We found the spot easily. Right from entering Mike was very accommodating and extremely helpful. The grounds are immaculate and the members are so friendly and welcoming. We decided to rent one of there RVs which is an option as well and stay an extra night. Mike made sure we were taken very good care of and went out of his way to do so. I would highly recommend a stay.

I have been going to Riverside for several years and I must say that, there have been many improvements at the park in the last two years. I have always found the campers to be friendly and fun. I look forward to spending more time there next season.

The best gay campsite in Ontario. Great staff and entertainment. Excellent pool and grounds.
