Incredible experience! Beautiful location! Great service! Room and bathroom could have been better cleaned, over all a great experience! Thank you to the Riverview staff!!
I went to this camp year with my youth group for winter camp four weekends and Awana clubs seven whole week camps. I have the best memories!! Recently, I drove my sons up to camp and there are fresh new cabins and other site developments. Great beach, good kitchen, and a beautiful piece of land.
Went for summit 2023 and had an amazing time
This place has everything and is well taken care of.
I very highly recommend Riverview. Some of the best memories I made as a Children's Pastor happened at Riverview. Now my kids are old enough to make new memories and also grow closer to Jesus. But it's not just about the kids, our Men's retreat this year was the best ever. In fact, so good, we already booked if for next year. The accommodations, the steaks, the trap shooting, and the staff. All top notch. Thank you!
The camp is a nice place to go, but needs some serious updating. The Auditorium has no AC, neither do the cabins. No gluten free options and the grass is constantly wet due to over sprinkling. This creates a haven for mosquitoes. There are wood bleacher that are broken and need to be replaced, but haven't in the past 2 years I've attended. On a positive side they take care of the church groups and are very nice to everyone.
Awana camp 8/5/23 - 8/12/23, the Cedar cabin was infested with bed bugs. The campers realized the cabin was infested on day 3 I have to suspect the camp management knew previously based on the level of bug infestation, yet the kids had to stay in the cabin for the remainder of the week despite continued bug bites at night.
My son loved it. So much to do. No air conditioning, so send fans with your campers!
So many great experiences and memories for life! I plan on going at least once a year for sure.
Best breakfast bacon I've had in years. Close to the road with some hiking. Lodge was nice and well taken care of. Outdoors activities and trails need some attention but look like they are in progress. 2 nice fire pits were generous and warm in the early morning.
