An outdoor walking labyrinth and reflective space being built on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis, IN www.rplabyrinth.blogspot.com (317) 372-6983
Thank you to the Focus 2020 initiative of the Peace Learning Center for granting the money to install this labyrinth and to a group of volunteers for placing the brick outline on Indy Do Day, Oct 10, 2013. This reflective space in the Rivoli Park neighborhood on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis, IN will be open dawn to dusk. It is located a half block south of the Value World on E. 10th Street in the 900 block of N. Kealing Ave. We had a wonderful celebration of the unity in community as we gathered on World Labyrinth Day, the first Saturday in May. The pathway is a triune focus design created by John E Ridder of Paxworks: the Labyrinth Shop. When you visit, please record your comments in the log book found in the green box near the entrance to the labyrinth. The "stumps" provided for sitting at the front of the lot were decorated by children from the LYN (Love Your Neighbor) House which is located nearby. Several artists have lent their talents to the beautification of the space by painting a panel for the art installation on the side fence. If you have any inspiring quotes that you think would be appropriate to display in the space or on this page, please post them on this page or send them in a message. Thank you.
