We had dinner for five on Christmas night this year. The restaurant recently opened and was beautifully restored. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the food was excellent. Overall, it was a perfect experience for a Christmas night in snowy Vermont. Parking: Plenty of parking available out back where entrance is located.
We tried calling to place a carryout but after 5 tries bit the bullet and drove in. 1st person in the restaurant at 5 PM - still took 30 min’s. $130 to feed 4 carryout, not $20 a person as Google states. after making the long trip back, 1 main course and 2 sides wrong. Mind you phones dont work so I can’t resolve the $35 salmon/ 2 baked potatoes. Drive back and the manager rushes to simply replace the missing items vs. refund my $ as I requested.
The new Roberts Roadhouse is wonderful! The staff is friendly, décor totally updated and menu is great. We had the prime rib and it was perfect! Must come!

We've been coming to the Roadhouse for about 30 years now, even before the fire had destroyed it and had to be rebuilt. The roadhouse was one of the best, most reliable, reasonably-priced restaurants in the area. Sadly it seems to have shuttered its doors recently. Rumor has it the buyers are going to be hoping a retail store in the location so we'll see what new business appears this summer.
Really nice food, but the best of all was the live music! Incredibly! Highly recommended.
Great local steakhouse and food, especially in this Dover area, nice place to eat if you are staying near Mount Snow. Mostly uncrowded. Friendly and helpful staff, very "local" feeling.
We had breakfast here and all four dishes were great! The staff is friendly and it's very cozy. We had the French Toast, Tomato and Cheddar Omelette, Eggs Benedict, and Burger and all were awesome.
Probably, the worst salmon I ever ate anywhere. Overcooked and with a weird smell. Chicken Parmesan was also very plain, not the best piece, the sauce tasted like plain canned tomatoes with salt. The place looks cosy, so 2 stars for looks only.
Excellent service. Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Especially love the house made bread. Prime Rib special on Saturday is also really good.
