No follow up from Robert Half whatsoever after second 1-hour long interview with job. Employer seemed interested in offering me towards the end of the interview. However, the pay rate was clearly not communicated between employer and Robert Half, this was evident because I asked the employer what it was in which they didn't even have a response. No follow up from the employer either but oh well. Thankfully got offered another job within a week later without Robert Half's service.
Contacted Robert Half as they state they are a staffing agency and their primary targeted is for unemployed individuals. Everything was good had a great interview experience 4-3-23 signed onboarding documents then had a call from a recruiter and then all communication stopped. I followed up via phone with the recruiter, no response back after a week. Emailed Kayley 4-20-23, after 2 weeks of no communication, not even a reply back. I find this extremely unprofessional and will never give Robert Half any chance of recommendation. They say they have many jobs for me and say I’m the perfect candidate and I even applied to 12 jobs on the app and nothing gets sent to the location. Don’t even bother asking me to contact customer care because that isn’t going to solve the issue. Conduct an internal investigation and hold people accountable for not communicating, following up, and doing their jobs in a professional manner. It’s one thing to be busy over many candidates but in a professional manner nearly a month and cutting communication is disrespectful
If I could give them -0 I would! Do not even waste your time with the agency. The recruiters do not return your phone calls, do not email you back, nothing. I’ve never had an employment agency literally ghost me. Keep it moving if your considering them!!!!
Robert Half is supposed to be known for great service. But for myself it's been nothing of the sort. I had one of their "directors" Alison Degnon reach out to me on LinkedIn. We have set multiple dates to connect about a position. Unfortunately Alison has been very unprofessional and disrespectful of other peoples time. She isn't on time to the scheduled meeting and then cancels last minute. With no notice. Doesn't not respond to emails. She is not respectful of my time I can only imagine how other clients may feel. I suggest not to work with Alsion.
Sadly to say but after my first interaction with a recruiter she noted a negative note on my profile over an emergency which I had to finish an assignment. I've never worked with an agency before, so as a first timer I will say this has been hard for me to even get in touch with recruiters. Everytime I call its usually c.s rep that will answer and then ask to see if any recruiter can take my call and it has been no success. They sure do forward me direct jobs to my personal emails and ask for specific instructions regarding updated resumes and to whom submit them to. When I immeadiay submit the docs. They don't ever reach back . So I do. I ask for an update or even ask if the position has been filled and I'm tired calling them over 7xs a day
The second I signed up for Robert half, I had calls from their team setting up interviews for me and possible job matches. I got a job within a week of being with their agency, and have now been hired full time at that job. My recruiter Shezad was very helpful and supportive the whole way!
I’m extremely satisfied working with Robert Half / Accounttemps. I had the pleasure of working with Shezad Allaudin, a hard working guy who was honest, responsive, and easy to talk to. I had just graduated and procrastinated on finding work. I was in need of a job so I decided to reach out to Robert Half I found them through indeed. After our first phone conversation, he quickly found an opportunity that I am grateful for. The opportunity was perfect for me and I was able to get hired full-time after 6 months. He has had long, successful relationships with accounting & finance managers who are looking for work. If you are looking for work in accounting & finance, I highly recommend working with Robert Half, specifically Shezad. I am sure he will find the right opportunity for you. Thanks again everyone at RH who helped me out, I really appreciate it!
Edit: Originally I came here because of a bad experience. However, they are under new management and I have changed my review. The old manager created these 2 star reviews but the new management made it 5! As of 11/9/22 and on they have new management, Amy is the hero of the DTLA branch. The negative reviews do reflect the old guard. However since Amy came and took over she is making it a great place. She reached out to me because of my review and made sure that I was made whole. She saw that my problem was fixable and that she could make a huge difference with her actions. She heard me, set up meetings, spoke to her team, and she seems to be going through systematically fixing this specific location. She has worked for ten years at Robert Half and was brought in just to help this branch. I say with Amy there everything is really good and you are safe to work with them. I am also receiving help from a new person, named Brian, who was brought over from another branch so that he could infuse the company with new culture at this location as well. So overall Amy is bringing in new people to ensure new morale and new company culture and to increase enthusiasm from the staff. I would say with new leadership the interactions have changed here. I would be confident going to them again for help with Amy there. This is all because of the way that Amy is changing things. Brian has been very attentive and kind when I ask him questions. Richard is the one doing my new accounting and he is really smart, qualified, and quick on his feet with accounting. My original post so you can see does not apply anymore: Unfortunately after a 30,000 dollar audit I am still fixing errors from the person assigned to me and finding mistakes where she said she did work and did not.
It has been a delight working with Robert Half. Being involved with different projects provided a unique experience and opportunity to develop new job skills. They were very attentive to all requested needs, and maintained a great line of communication. From the first day on a new project to the last, Shezad Allaudin has been there to provide full support. He was always ready to find the your next opportunity. He will definitely have your best interest in sight. Thank you for helping me find a really amazing career opportunity. Thank you! Amazing experience!
At first my experience was good interacting with the recruiter but when I needed guidance I was essentially “ghosted” by my recruiter. I don’t feel like these recruiters care about your long-term happiness, especially after their fee is collected, unfortunately.
