Robert James salon is great.  It's been my salon for over10 years and Lisa has been my hairdresser for about 3 years.   The atmosphere iis very warm and welcoming.

I chose Robert James Salon to do my hair and makeup and my bridal party's hair and makeup for my wedding a few weeks ago. A week before, I did a trial makeup and got my hair dyed and both came out fantastic.  Everyone loved their hair and makeup and they all looked gorgeous.  I loved the way Brooke did my hair and Allison did my makeup perfectly; It was exactly how I envisioned it to look.  The ladies at the salon are super friendly and know how to make your hair look great.  The reason I took off a star for the review is because of the price.  I visited the salon for pricing information well over a month before and we went over everything that I wanted for the day and a price was given for each of us depending on the hair style that we wanted.  On the day of the wedding, there were extra charges for eyelashes, and hair extensions that were clipped into my hair.  I do not think nickle and diming for each individual eyelash that is put on or hair extension clip is necessary and if that is the case, it should have been mentioned when going over the pricing.  I heard the woman actually tell my hairdresser to make sure she counts how many clips are put in. For paying well over $1200 for 6 people's hair and makeup, it should be included.  Overall, we all looked beautiful and I could have not asked for better hair/ makeup..  Thank you for making us look out best!  I appreciate the great service.

Whenever I walk into the salon, the personal attention from the staff is amazing! Thank goodness for Margaret at the front desk, always warm and welcoming, Lisa, very educated and a true artist! It's such a pleasure and feel beautiful and relaxed when done. On a personal note / someone I know was abducted and abused. She was left for dead. They took her in and gave her a total makeover with love. Never thought to charge her. They were able to help her feel like a woman of dignity and grace!
