This park is amazing, just a short jaunt from downtown San Anselmo; quiet, lush, w/ benches, tables sun & shade. Great little spot to read a book or to eat lunch.
This is the most beautiful park Ive been too..quite little place to just chill and relax..will definitely visit again!
Really cute park with many picnic tables and benches. Seemed very kid and dog friendly.
Used to spend time here as a kid. Went back 35 years later with my adult kids and it hasn't changed, which is a good thing. Community garden plots, beautiful grounds around the Robson-Harrington House, benches and picnic tables, a BBQ area within some brick ruins of a long-ago structure, and dog friendly. Brought back some great memories.
Such a cool park, it has a community garden, beautiful architecture, and on a historical note the bricks used in the wall that’s around the property were acquired just after the 1906 earthquake from San Francisco the heat from the fire was so intense that it turn the outside into a glaze. A wonderful part of this town’s history. Kid friendly, dog friendly, perfect for a picnic or practicing a musical instrument
San Anselmo History Museum has an excellent online bio about this beautiful property. Your own eyes and senses will reveal how lovely this place is, but knowing it's background and all of the many people whose lives contributed to this park and property. will enhance your enjoyment!
I absolutely love this place! A quick walk from downtown, this beautiful park is a place where I love to go for photo shoots with friends or just have a picnic with friends or family. This is one of my favorite places in Marin! Perfectly encapsulates San Anselmo feels!
An excellent place to read or enjoy a peaceful lunch amongst the redwoods. Lack of easily accessible bathroom facilities is problematic. The gardens are beautiful and I believe volunteer maintained. Large lawn for kids or dogs, dogs not usually an issue here.
Quaint, beautiful old Garden area with many stone walls just off of downtown San Anselmo. Many private areas to sit. Beautiful trees and Community Gardens.
Former private estate that has been donated to the Town of San Anselmo. Intimate, multi use park with terraced garden plots that can be rented by individuals to grow fruits, vegetables, ornamentals, etc. Redwood Grove and field that can be reserved for private events, birthday parties, etc. Only a couple of blocks from downtown San Anselmo.
