The place will take you back in time as the restaurant has the old feel, I don't think that it has been "updated", that's not a bad thing if you like that. ‍Service was very good. I liked the food. The white pizza was very good. The chicken marsala was good too but it was bland. Cleanliness level was good. Parking available. Outside and inside seating area. I would definitely go back to try other dishes.
It's nice place with a great welcome. The service was ok, somehow I got a gluten free pizza that I did not order. The Large pizza was good enough for four people. Honestly, for the price I was expecting a better taste of the pizza, but I guess because I got the gluten free. The green bell pepper were not cooked completely.
Our company's founder loves this place. When the team visited on Friday, we had to try the Chicago style pizza he's always raving about. It didn't disappoint. The staff was great. The canoli were a little on the hard side, but the other food, service and good atmosphere more than made up for that.Food: 5/5
An absolutely amazingly delicious meal at Rocco's Italian! Everything tastes just right and typically I surprisingly have room for dessert which is also delicious and a must have at every visit. The staff is very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable as well which makes your dinning experience even better!
We ordered the “baggio” veggie pizza and margherita pizza. This is the worst pizza I have had in my life. Dough was soggy and thick and uncooked. There was no taste of salt. Mozzarella tasted like rubber. Extremely disappointed and what a waste of money. I paid 100 dollars for 2 pizzas and chicken wings. What was I thinking.
We had stupendous, amazing, delicious, tasty, deep dish Pizza from Rocco's in McLean tonight! 500 stars, A++++++. We got 3 pies and the guys were all making super Yum noises while enjoying every bite! I don't often shout out restaurants but Rocco's has NEVER disappointed me! I've been going there since 1988 and every entree I've had was the same great mix of fresh ingredients with lots of Love in every bite! It's a keeper. Photo is of a large Chicago Deep Dish Double Mushroom Double Meatball with their savory meat sauce! One slice had me pleasantly FULL. Plenty of leftovers! My guys loved their Pepperoni and extra cheese pizzas. We got 1 deep dish and 1 NY style and they thoroughly enjoyed them both! We will be back!

We were up north for a school sports event nearby, and headed to McLean Family Restaurant. Saw Rocco’s en route and opted for this for dinner instead. So glad we did. We were seated right away, the staff were friendly and attentive, and patient with my children’s slow ordering. Friendly, family-like atmosphere. Sat next to two older gentlemen who turned out to be regulars and brothers out for a weekly meet-up. They knew the owner and told us a little about the restaurant. My eldest ordered pizza, I had chicken cacciatore, my middle son had a Chicago-style pizza, and my seven year old had a burger. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and meatballs as appetizers. Meatballs were large enough to split between the four of us, and mozzarella sticks were delicious. For dessert we had key lime pie and ice cream. Coffee was good. I’d get there earlier on a weekend evening to ensure you get seated and that they don’t run out of your favorites from wine to spumoni. Had continued friendly chat with the table next to us, and my teen sons grabbed a menu and insisted we make the drive back from Stafford for Rocco’s in the future. Definitely a successful find. Kid-friendliness: It’s very clearly a family-friendly restaurant. Don’t know that the bathrooms are big enough to change a baby, as mine were older children. But there were families there. All the kids were very well-behaved and no one was disruptive. Even the menu was entertaining. The in-house menu included “lizard legs” and “tired toothbrush bristles.” My boys found that hilarious as they were reading through pizza options. Parking: The parking is located all around restaurant and when we arrived there was plenty, and easy to access. The spaces aren’t wide, so be prepared to open doors carefully so as not to ding the car next to you.
My husband and I had heard about Roccos from a pharmacy he had stopped at. We decided to try it. The waiter suggested that since it was just myself and husband and they only had one size of pizza a 20 inch that we should probably only order a half pizza. We ordered a half Ham and Pineapple and we were sure glad we did. Quite tasty pizza and there is no way we could of eaten more. Our waiter was a very helpful and asked all the right questions when he checked how we were doing. When i say right questions I mean in a super personable but professional way! We would come here again if in the area for sure!!
The service was good but unfortunately the pizza was not great. I felt like the toppings and sauce were good but the crust was nearly flavorless. It was bland to the point that it really detracted from the pizza. I will not be ordering pizza from them again..Food: 2/5
