Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery is a welcoming and engaging craft beer experience with a variety of unique craft beer freshly brewed on-site to pair with our popular American crave-able food like our Brewery Nachos and Ballpark Pretzel, as well as comforting dishes like Bacon Chicken Mac n’ Cheese, Fish and Chips and Bacon Cheddar Burger. Feels like we were unlucky during our visit. Place looked nice and promising, but lots of smaller things spoiled our visit. There was someone smoking in the outside area, and while we were inside, there was still traces of cigarette smoke in the air. Service was somewhat slow and not very helpful. I suspect I got a smaller beer glass than I asked for, but that’s alright, chances are I don’t end up being an alcoholic because of them. Food was average at best. Server mentioned something about beers refills somewhere at the taps, but then disappeared and only returned to give us our check.
We came in on an afternoon visit. We used to come in more often. I ordered chicken strips and husband ordered a hamburger. The beer was at a special of $2.00 and is always good. In the past, the strips used to be amazing. I found them a bit dry and just ok. No complaints about the hamburger. The place needs a revamp. Half the seats booths have torn upholstery.
We had an awesome plate of nachos that were delicious and had the right amount of toppings to chips. The sliders were so juicy and perfect as well. The spinach dip was great as well, but didn’t hit the same since it was so hot outside. The drinks were cool and fresh and paired perfectly with the heat outside!Recommended dishesLoaded Af Nachos, Salsa
I went today with my mother and we both found things we loved! The portions are large and the food is high quality. Service was on point. Would 100% eat here again. Our server Dolly was both engaging and attentive to our needs!
Came here last year and the food was great so I came back but was very disappointed: Came in on a weekday for dinner, wasn’t too busy, and ordered the Tiger Eye bowl with steak medium rare and waffles fries. Last time I ordered it, the bowl was amazing! Full of flavor. This time it was so dry and flavorless and the sauce was spicy which I don’t recall it being last time. The steak was also over cooked so I asked for it to be corrected to medium rare and it took 15min to get back to us and it was even more over cooked the 2nd time around. At that point I said to forget it and the staff just didn’t seem to care enough to fix it. Service was okay— apparently they don’t do waffles fries anymore even though it was still on their menu and the waiter never informed us and gave us regular fries instead. And honestly for the price, fries were bland and too small a portion. Was really excited to come back here but, I don’t know if they changed their kitchen staff or something, but it was just a really disappointing experience. Doesn’t seem worth recommending or going back to, you know?
Our experience was pretty good the last time we were here which is why we came back. However, the experience we had this time was much different. We came here for lunch it wasn't busy at all so we were seated quickly. The waitress was pleasant and provided good service. The food on the other hand was nothing to brag about. I ordered the brisket sandwich which came with a side of onionsdiced, not sliced and pickles. The brisket itself was bland and flavorless. The best part of the sandwich was the BBQ sauce and the pickles. My friend ordered the Chicken Parmesan needless to say they were equally disappointed with their meal as it too lacked in flavor. As they put it "a jar of store-bought ragu would have tasted better than the sauce that was on their plate." If it wasn't for the good service and atmosphere I would have given them 2 stars. Maybe they were having an off day, but to say that I'd go back again...probably not...would I recommend this place to my family and friends, no.
Great atmosphere, had a great smiling waitress that was very attentive ! Pretzels were Bomb with their cheese sauce! Many special brews , my choice of beer was a nice cold Red Ale Happy !! There Salads and Burgers are pretty tasty ; Good place to hang and unwind...very spacious. There was 1 appetizer that had too much salt in their sauce, but other than that...Great Time!
Had dinner tonight with hubby for first time. We ordered the deviled eggs appetizer which have a spicy kick but very flavorful especially with the bacon bits 5 or 6 for $9 and watched the games inside! He had the burrito bowl with steak cooked to order they offer white rice, blend rice, or cauliflower rice it came with black beans, avocado, tomatoes, he loved it! Comparable to Chipotle but much better and not bad for $15! I definitely want to try one next visit! I ordered fish and chips and definitely a memorable dish! Not too crunchy, but Not soft or soggy, the 4 pieces of cod were paired well with this chipotle tartar sauce not spicy and the waffle fries were the same great texture and a huge portion for $21! All in all, great service, clean place, great music and sports games, two entrees, a soft drink, and app for $60 after tax before tip and they brew their own beer! Highly recommend!
It had been decades since I have been here and randomly stopped by this week. Was a Tuesday evening after work, not busy. Friendly wait staff, good food, clean environment. Came for appetizers and a drink. The duck wings were wonderful and will be back to get them again.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Worst experience I've had with food so far orders are wrong and I paid $23 for a dry cold piece of steak that was burnt if you're looking for something other than a burger there's plenty of other choices....... both servers got the order wrong my child was left with out food cause she was looking at her phone instead of take the right order spent 1 hour 23 min for our food an still didn't come out right save your money this place is garbage still sitting an waiting for my kids food
