A Lengthy History in Fairfield County, CT
Rockwell Art and Framing has been providing creativity and custom design to the communities of Fairfield County for over ten years. In January 2002 Stephen Rockwell Desloge, a long-time Wilton resident and custom framing customer, opened an art gallery as an extension to Wilton Art & Framing. Wilton Art & Framing, along with their second store Norwalk Art & Framing, had been a part of their respective communities since opening 1987. In January 2003 Mr. Desloge purchased both locations, renovating the Norwalk location in spring 2004 to add gallery space to the store's existing picture framing business. In June 2005 Rockwell Art and Framing expanded to a new location in Westport, followed in July of the same year with the opening of an exclusive gallery space at The Atlantic Group in Wilton focused toward corporate and design clientele. Some restructuring occurred in fall 2008 when the Norwalk location was closed and relocated to downtown New Canaan. Further opportunity arose in October of 2009 when Rockwell Art and Framing opened their fourth location in Fairfield, continuing the work of Fairfield Gallery & Frame. The fifth and sixth location came in March of 2010, when Rockwell Art and Framing opened locations in Stamford and Ridgefield, reviving the locations of closing picture framing businesses. Currently all six locations of Rockwell Art and Framing offer full service custom picture framing, with the locations in New Canaan, Ridgefield, and Westport hosting active fine art galleries. The experienced team at Rockwell Art and Framing works with residential clients, corporate clients, and interior designers to help solve all their art and framing challenges.
