Roger Allen Park & Memorial Field

About

Youth sports complex whose mission is to provide a safe environment for the youth of the greater Rochester, NH area to learn, play and enjoy sports.

Description

Spearheaded by Al Benton with a generous donation of land by Roger Allen the park was born from one Little League field and transformed into a 96-acre youth sports complex which is noted to be one of the best youth parks in New England. Being developed, funded, and maintained through volunteer effort teaches our children the best message, one that is a life lesson and something they can carry on long after their days of sports are done. Our slogan “Where all kids play . . . the vision of two men and the efforts of many” is the embodiment of who we are and what we are about. The park exists for all kids not just the all-star whereby we believe the kids come first, the sport comes second and winning is the added benefit.

Big ball park, kids love it, field is pretty well maintained. Great for the team sports! Could use a real bathroom. Instead of an over flowing porter poty that is always out of paper!
This is an excellent park with Large fields, some fenced, some not. Picnic tables and walking trail.
Absolutely one of my favorite places to take the family and I wish we had something this nice when I was a kid Playground: Best playground around Restrooms: Clean porta potty’s never drity or disgusting Dog-friendliness: Not sure about the animal friendliness but I don’t believe there is a specific dog park section, but the town is absolutely lacking one and it would be worth having them invest in one
Beautiful sports complex! My oldest has played baseball and football at Roger Allen for 4+yrs. Fantastic facilities.
Nicely kept fields and stadium for junior football Restrooms: Plenty
Extensive athletic fields maintained by volunteers to the best of my knowledge. Unfortunately the soccer field we played on was half dead and half overgrown. The sidelines were riddled with dog poo, and the only open bathrooms were unserviced porta potties.
Parking is ludicrous for officials and parents this should not be happening
Great place!!! So many different fields
Went to watch a friend's son play a football game. It was much larger than I expected with several fields. They all seemed a good size and a lot of parking. It was well maintained and everyone had fun.
Huge fields but very nice. We came up from seabrook for a soccer game and it was a short walk from parking to getting to the soccer field. Restrooms: I believe I saw bathrooms but I never used them Picnic area: I saw one picnic table.
