Very cute little kids park. It has a weird kid powered steering wheel sounds maker that sounds like a : firetruck, space ship, train, boat, or car. The slides are really nice and all in the shade of some lovely trees. There are some picnic tables too. The only negatives about the place is there are no swings and a piece of equipment is gone. They put a sheet of plywood to cap off the ramp where the equipment is gone from. Hopefully one day they will put something there to replace it.
Outstanding place fun in the pool. Went there with my 2, 3, and 4 year old grandsons. Several pools available with lifeguards.
Great place for kids to be active.
They have nice tennis courts that seem to be kept up very well.
Football field doesn’t even have a working scoreboard. Announcer wouldn’t give score updates when home team was down. Games on Saturday couldn’t keep up with the time or scores, trash cans full and trash spilling over and bleachers and fences around the football field are falling apart. Sad shape for a city park Pensacola
Very nice facility.
I've spent 1,000 hours at this park at least between kids ball games and my own workouts over the years. It's a familiar home to me and I like it a lot. My only complaint is that the fields aren't always maintained as well as they could be. It's a pretty unique location to be able to work out and watch air traffic come and go from Pensacola Airport all at the same time. If you're from out of town, you should go check it out.
If you have an older or shy dog, this is the dog park to go to. The dogs here tend to also be older and owned by older people, which makes them much more calm and a refreshingly different experience from Bayview Park. Beware though that because of this particular demographic, the dog park is usually empty after 5:30-6:00. The best times to go are between 3:00-4:30 on weekdays and mid-afternoon on weekends. This park also boasts a nice trail originally funded and created by a LEAP class. Perfect for taking the dogs before or after visiting the dog park.
This is the best tennis facility within 200 miles. They have tons of clay and hard courts that are in great shape, they provide sun shades on the courts, have a well stocked pro shop and friendly staff, and even have a huge hitting wall. This facility is the ideal setting for an American tennis cultural revival.
Very nice, clean facility. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful which is comforting when enrolling my kids in the many activities and events they have throughout the year. I highly recommend them!
