So awesome, so many options to choose from, good food that wasn't too pricey. I didn't realize they opened at 11 so we had to wait to get in. The bathrooms were nice and well kept. I appreciate them asking parents not to have opposite sex kids over a certain age since women and girls are changing in there. They have family changing rooms for that which is nice.
One of my favorite parks. You can walk or bike paved roads. Use their mountain bike trails. Cross country skiing in winter. They have woods, beautiful prairies, a water park, a pretty lake, and many more.
We love this park and go here frequently every year. The disc golf course is a solid 18 holes that gets hilly and wooded on the back nine where the course lives up to its name. The picnic areas are well-maintained and the park is kept up well overall. Can't comment on the playgrounds or the waterpark, but the walking trails and bike paths are great. Lots of picnic tables, grills, and pavilions for hosting cookouts or other gatherings too. Restrooms: A few porta potties near the picnic areas, seemed fairly clean and kept up Dog-friendliness: Very dog-friendly with plenty of trails, paths, and open space Picnic area: Features lots of picnic tables including wheelchair friendly ones a few pavilions or gazebo shelters, and charcoal grills.
Today was busy from the word GO! The park reached capacity at just after noon but it was still a very amazing day. The picnic area was full of delicious smells and smiling faces and the kids loved the slides and wave pool. Always a blast at Rolling Hills Water Park! Playground: Not just a playground but a water playground too! I wish I was ten again!! Restrooms: Always clean! Picnic area: The picnic area was clean and had multiple stations and tables for family gatherings. All guests should be limited to no more than two tables no matter the size to accommodate other guests but maybe we'll get there one day.
I only live 40 minutes away and had no idea it even existed. This place is great for all ages. Our 12 13 and 16 yr old enjoyed themselves for a few hours. This place is definitely ideal for younger kids too. Great grassey shaded areas where you can bring your own chairs and blankets if you dont want to be on the hot pavement or if it is too crowded that wasnt the case when we were there, plenty if options. The concession is reasonably priced as well. They even have a chicken caesar salad on the menu. You can not bring your own food in, only water. People will go to the parking lot and eat the food they pack. There are some grass areas and picnic tables available out there as well. Lockers are available for 50 cents, with each open to keep your valuables. Nice size bathrooms and dressing rooms. Lifeguards are on duty. We really enjoyed the wave pool and lazy river to and fast lines for the slides! We will definitely be returning this summer. The last pic is of my daughter on our way home, only after 5 mins in the car from leaving. Picnic area: Yes pleanty of picnic choices.
A very nice place for family and kids. It is ok when it comes to cleaning. Lockers are available for 50 cents. Lifeguards are present everywhere which makes it safer for kids. Definitely recommend for a quick fun Sunny day. Playground: Small fun playground for young kids. Restrooms: There are restrooms with showers and changing areas.
This review is of the pavillion rental. We rented the one right next to the playground and it worked out perfect for a childs birthday party. Bathrooms were inside a building about a 3 min. walk away that can be rented as well. It was actually being rented at the time for a baby shower There was tons of parking. Also, back through the trees on a beautiful walking path were more picnic tables/ bbqs & a fishing pond. I like that this is a county park for events because there is a $10 car charge for nonresidents to get in, & $8 for washtenaw county residents..so it cuts down on unsupervised kids or criminal activity that might ruin such a beautiful atmosphere. We even had someone come up on a golf cart to make sure we had everything we needed. BTW..I believe the sign coming in said it was $30 for an annual membership, which is a great discount for people in the area looking to come on the regular.
Overall this is a really great water park, especially for kids. My son is 6 and loves it. It definitely gets busy on weekends in the summer, so plan accordingly. We've found that it's less busy right as the park opens or a few hours before it closes. There are a lot of bees in the food area which I don't think can be avoided.
This is a great place for the whole family!! Our kids are between the ages of 9-22 years old and we have a 4 yr old autistic Grandson, and there was entertainment for everyone. Nothing was too crowded, great sized "baby pool", and plenty of shaded spots also. I love the fact that there are grassy areas inside also, rather than just concrete. Restrooms: Surprisingly well maintained and plenty of stalls. They also have changing rooms Picnic area: Multiple areas both inside the park and outside the park
We were there for their family campout weekend, and they couldn't have tried harder to make a welcoming space for us. With a central bonfire, s'mores time, crafting, and a movie for the kids, there was so much to do. With a playground and water park right next door, the children were busy from morning to night. Portos filled up quick, but there was one actual stall bathroom as well. Staff were super friendly.
