First time my girlfriend and I visited rose point, we loved our site as it was more secluded and had a stream that ran right behind it. The roads here are NOT low car friendly, I scrapped all weekend going back and forth to the site, just a warning for anyone out there who may have a lowered vehicle. We did have a problem with excessive barking from dogs throughout our night on Friday and the majority of the day on Saturday unfortunately and that’s my biggest complaint. I did call the office and they tried to resolve it but it ended up going on again throughout the night on Saturday. Overall the campground is super clean and easily accessible, will definitely visit again
The location is very convenient and is right off 422. They have a shelter for events which can hold a decent amount of people. The facility also has a restroom, grill, and fire pit area. Overall, it is a nice location if you are camping. Parking is a little tight, but overall it is a good location with nice facilities and easy access.Rooms: 5/5
Love this place! We have been bringing our kids here for the last 9 years, and they teens still look forward to it! Everyone is super friendly and helpful! The place is super clean! Cabins are so nice, and we even tried a yurt once.. a little small for a family of 6 but a family of 4 is perfect! We just tented with the family for memorial day weekend and it was so nice! Just the pool and activities for the kids makes it worth it! Prices are reasonable, and they have a store for whatever you forgot to pack! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Picture of site 221 and the baby with the camp kitty "smore" . Nearby activities: Close to moraine state park, walking trials, McConnells mills hiking and 422! Walkability: You can walk the camp or rent a golf cart, which we love to do! So much fun at this place!!
Great place! Park is very clean. They had a lot of activities going on over the weekend, but the evenings were peaceful and quiet. Check in / out was fast and easy. Our site #4 was level and very easy to access. Owners and office staff very friendly. Owners were on site and active in all the activities. Short drive to stores and a Sheetz. Definitely will be making plans to return.
The most family-friendly campground I’ve ever been to. If that’s not your thing or kids annoy you, don’t go here. Lots of weekend activities going on. Also one of the nicest camp stores I’ve been to with courteous staff. A tad pricey as we paid 50 per night to have our small teardrop on a small 15 amp plot with bad tasting water hookups even with our inline filter and poor Wi-Fi missed the lers preseason game. Super close to McConnell’s though which we love for the hiking and climbing. Safety: Gated at the entrance, key fobs given at check in.
My Toastmasters Club used the pavilion and had an amazing meeting and picnic. We forgot to bring a few things like a knife to cut our watermelon and they were very accommodating in letting us borrow things so we could have an amazing gathering! Safety: They have a car gate at the entrance
We always love coming to this campground. Staff is awesome, pool is great, tons of stuff for the kids and we always book a comeback trip before we leave!Rooms: 5/5
What a nicely maintained park. We loved our 4 nite stay and each day we saw workers busy cleaning, updating and maintaining the park. So many campgrounds don't care anymore and it was nice to stay here! We will be back.Service: 5/5
A family favorite, perfect for young kids. Two playgrounds, great pool, well-maintained grounds and cabins, fun activities, and a very charming and well-stocked store. Absolutely love this place and recommend to everyone! Rooms: The cabins are all-wood and smell so good!
Stayed at rose point with my parents. Really loved it there wish I could have stayed longer. The people were nice and friendly and helpful. I'll be scheduling another visit.Service: 5/5
