There are never counselors available, and when they are, they call in, making you reschedule your appointment for another month. This definitely affects showing social security that you're serious about disability if you never have treatment.
*DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING HERE* As you can see from the bad reviews below your you know where my review heading . I went thru intake , classes , saw a counselor all for what when they can’t even schedule appointments for a psychiatrist. I called numerous times left a voicemail still no callback. Shut this place down
April 2018 I had a appointment with Dr. Jeffery and brought my service dog Oreo with. Dr. Jeffrey raise her voice at me which brought my service dog alert and curious what's going on. So he pop his head up and put his paws on her desk. Because he did this she had a nerve to say my dog is aggressive. On top of that her nurse lied to upper management and said my service animal nip her in the ankle. No accident report was done and animal control was not called. Which stop and think that right there is proof that she is a two face liar. I hope some day someone will nail this place and Sue them for very penny they have. Unfortunately I myself don't have the time no the money to hire a attorney to bring this to higher court. My advice to anyone who takes the time to read this. Take your love one somewhere else for service. Dr Jeffery is unprofessional and has no business even having a degree as a doctor. Hey I would even settle a degree in compassion and table matters.
We have left two messages to talk to one of the case workers in the last week and a half never heard back. So then we decided to go there sat for 15 to 20 minutes waiting to hear back. She never responded to the email so we left our phone number again and now we are another day out, very very poor service. Not even sure we wanna deal with these people anymore.
Ohmy where do I start? First off how about when things get too tough for them either the employees quit, get transferred, or the clinic tells you that since you have made no progress we are DUMPING YOU!!! Yeah a mental health clinic that leaves patients to their own devices.I doubt it is because it worked so well for us already. This place is a joke and the people who run it need lessons in compassion. I said what I typed and I stick by it.
I've been with Rosecrance since 12 y/o and it's not because they have good service, but convenience. They don't even listen to your needs when you tell them what you want. The only thing good about this company is through their rotating door staff they always replace them for you automatically. But if they don't tell you there leaving and most don't, you don't even know. This place is a mess and over my decade of mental health care they have continued to always suck, but separate therapist our expensive and easy to loose and I couldn't get the care I felt I needed, now I can't here either
I recently relocated to Rockford and had begun the process of becoming a patient of this clinic. I'm in week 4 of the "just in time" appointment scheduling process. I've called the second the phone lines are open every week and left the requested information on their voicemail. This last week I asked for a call back no matter what and received voicemail stating that they had not had appointments left. I was told if you had called the week before to state that and you would have priority; my assumption is they have a large backlog of people with this assumed priority. This means a lot of people struggling to maintain consistent medication.
Staff is rude and doesn’t care at all. They honestly seem so exhausted with every client. Needs to be shut down or something, it is so disrespectful that this is a mental health counseling place and people who are trying to get help, but these people make you feel more drained and get no where. I had a counselor here and her report on me was completely wrong. They don’t listen at all and I seriously had to repeat every single thing every week, even that I like to draw to this girl because they wouldn’t remember. Do not waste your time here.
I just read another review that is eerily similar to my story. My daughter has been a patient for over a year and recently was admitted to Swedish American. When she got out they had her prescribed medication. To even be able to get a refill you have to call the psychiatrist line at 8 AM on Wednesday morning. The only problem is you can't ever get through because ALL of the patients are calling at the same time. We are down to the last few days of medication and have called every Wednesday for the past 3 weeks. My daughter's counselor says she can't do anything and I've called and left messages with the Ware clinical director and the adult clinical director because no one ever picks up. I still haven't gotten a call back or even an acknowledgement that there's an issue. I'm not sure how long most people have to go without medication that they need before finally getting a call back. Extremely upsetting as a parent and as someone who works in healthcare.
I have been taking my daughter there for a year now. Over the summer they decided to change her medication. Her depression is getting worse and all they did was up her dose. Two weeks ago we made a trip to the ER due to her mental state. Swedish American sent us home saying to have her medication changed. I have been calling for two weeks to get an appointment. I have left two voicemails for GIGI who is a supervisor, not a call back yet, spoken with the counselor three times, and a few other people who can't seem to help. This place is a joke!! They don't seem to care much about anything. Very sad they treat you this way.
