Tours are held on the 2nd Saturday of the month thru October at 10 AM. The tour is free and is 2 hours long. It highlights the rich history of Chicago's oldest and largest non-sectarian cemetery, cemetery art, symbolism and pioneers of commerce and politics. Meet at the Rosehill main entrance 5800 N. Ravenswood at 10 AM. No reservations are required. The tour will be held rain or shine. There is ample parking inside the main gates to the north. In inclement weather, the tour will take place in the Community Mausoleum and highlights will include John G. Shedd, Richard Sears, and Montgomery Ward. Comfortable shoes and a water bottle are recommended. Groups must book tours privately.
