Stumbled across this restaurant and we'll definitely be making regular trips back. The food was excellent the customer service was exposed to excellent as could be and atmosphere was just so comfortable.Food: 5/5
I came on a very busy day. Parking is always crazy because of limited space and high volume of business.i usually buy raw and cook at home but today i wanted to try the restaurant side. I placed my order, specifying that i only cared for shrimp and the side items were whatever. Not a lot of shrimp selection and no combination plates. Basically, there's a 6 piece shrimp or a 12 piece shrimp and it comes with sides. I chose 12pc with baked potato, coleslaw, hushpuppies and cocktail sauce. I received my "to go" meal about 25 minutes later. It came with tarter sauce. It was good tarter sauce, good pickle flavor and pronounced onion flavor but i prefer cocktail sauce to the mayonnaise base. The shrimp were fully deveined, artfully breaded and cooked very well. Crispy not really greasy. The hushpuppies were good sized and well cooked. The coleslaw is decent just a bit watery. It's southern style with cabbage, carrot, mayo, and celery seed. Unfortunately, the shrimp was not seasoned. The hushpuppies had good smell but no flavor. My meal was a tick over $15 without a drink. Honestly, after i tasted my shrimp i went straight to Popeyes for some seasoned shrimp and i asked for extra sauce so i could at least dip the Rosehill shrimp in some flavor. I probably won't come back to the restaurant side but no hard feelings. My tastebuds are just used to more.
I had fried shrimp and they were definitely frozen, no taste. Even the slaw was not very good. The cocktail sauce was very good. The oysters were just OK. I would say read Red Lobster is better. Service was great.Service: 4/5
Last visit was years ago. It was not good at all. But this visit it was good, much better. Sweet tea wasn't that good & kind of pricey. Meet with co workers for a late Birthday treat for me. They enjoyed there food also. Overall it was pretty good.Food: 4/5
I live and work in Germany . Columbus is my hometown. While on vacation last week I visited this restaurant. I was very impressed. Friendly, courteous, and professional staff. I would recommend this restaurant to all my family and friends.Food: 5/5
We were seated quickly. I ordered the whole fried fish...it was pretty good, not overly meaty, but it happens. Onion rings and hush puppies were good. A couple birthdays were being celebrated and the whole restaurant was invited to sing along. We had a nice dinner.Food: 5/5
I had the catfish plate and wanted to add 1/2 dozen fried oysters to it. They want do that! Get this though, you could do it with oysters on the half shell. If you wanted fried you had to order a whole another plate. Wouldn't do it with shrimp either. First seafood place I've ever been to that wouldn't, hell even Captain D's does it.
This is a standard southern style restaurant that looks like the inside of your 85 year old great uncle’s house. When I don’t feel like driving nearly hours away for oysters on the half shell,I drive 90 minutes to Columbus. I love the fried seafood plates and their sweet tea has a beautiful diabetes taste that someone with a flabby armlike myselfmade. I just wish they had cheese grits.

Rosehill has a great menu of fresh seafood. The restaurant is clean with an open kitchen . The staff is friendly, efficient, experienced, and knowledgeable. Ticket times are good.
