Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home has been an important member of the Virginia Beach community since it was established in 1980 by Neal Kellum.
To better serve families, Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home is conveniently located and directly adjacent to Rosewood Memorial Park, which allows us to provide funeral and committal services in one place. Rosewood Memorial Park encompasses 55 acres of meticulously landscaped grounds that are adorned with crepe myrtle, cherry and magnolia trees to provide a quiet and picturesque setting in which to honor the memory of your loved one. It is considered one of Tidewater’s finest cemetery and mausoleum gardens.
Our staff is committed to assisting families when they need guidance. We are here to support you whether it is during your time of need or if you wish to prepare in advance. Our location is comprised of 16 beautiful gardens, eight mausoleums, a peaceful cremation garden with brick niches and an ossuary, and a variety of areas for private estates. Throughout the years of preparing for the needs of our families, we have developed a variety of gardens and buildings to keep families together forever.
In honor of military and public servants, we have the Tidewater Veterans' Memorial Garden and the Garden of Valor. These gardens display monuments, flags and benches honoring those who have served our country. In our Chapel of Serenity mausoleum building, the Court of Military Honor proudly displays bronze plaques representing each branch of the service. It also has many seating areas and a small, open chapel for services or visitations. At the front entrance of our park, our Public Servants Memorial honors firefighters and police officers whose lives were lost in the line of duty.
