My friend and I went shopping rather late they were pretty kind to us since we were the last ones at the store and there was a good selection
As a former worker here, I can honestly say that its not bad working here, its just the lack of real time respond. There are a few highly skilled associates that I appreciate that lead a great example for others, but again its the lack of real time respond. Messy store because associates walk pass it and not picking it up, not saying hello to all customers that walk by making it less friendly, and I believe it all leads to our leadership team. Sure they can have new associates, but the store is just going to develop the same type of associates if the leaders aren't changed. I find my self overworking my pay rate every shift to keep the store merchandised and clean, I don't mind getting paid minimum wage, but the fact that I'm working harder then someone that's making way more money then I am, really makes me feel some type of way because I am sweating from running all over the store to keep it mess free so customers can have a better shopping experience. I don't have to work as hard as I do, but I am always a hard worker and I like to overperform because it brings joy to the customers when they can shop in a clean store. so I don't recommend it to anyone who are great workers because it will just ruin you just like how it ruined me.
Love shopping here never know what you might find
Good store…needs more big guy sizes and lower prices on hats. But good selection
There were many suitcases to choose from...which was great. However, the employees are not friendly and there customer service has a lot to be desired!
Excellent. Found the Polo socks I've been looking to purchase
The Asian lady working there was being a racist to my little sister, making her show her the clothes more than twice to make sure the tags were there when she didn’t do it to other customers trying their clothes on, what horrible employees
I've been shopping at this Ross location for many years. Over the past few years, most of the staff has been replaced with a new staff that doesn't seem to care at all. It's obvious that they just don't want to be there. The store ALWAYS looks bad and customer service has been replaced with a clicky staff that's too busy interacting with each other and their cell phones to be bothered It's so obvious. I understand that this isn't a high paying job, but it's still a job where they are serving their customers. If you have a job, work it. They seem to see their customers as a burden instead of the people who keep them employed. From a staff member abandoning their cash register over the holiday to take a personal phone call with 30 people in line. Left with 1 cashier being overwhelmed. Yes, if it's important, then ok. But, tell a co-worker instead of abandoning their post and hiding in the shoe isle while the manager is looking for them during their 10 minute phone call. Not sure why the manager just didn't take over the register instead of searching all over the store for a staff member that aas literally hiding 20 ft away. I also overheard a Young man that's somehow a manager talking smack about the customers over the radio. The same Young Man that Never says hello despite how many times I've smiled and said hello to him. All I get are dirty looks behind a mask. Once again, I understand that this isn't a high paying job, but when workers at Big Lots blow these employees away with their service, it makes me wonder why the workers at Ross are even working there to begin with. If you don't want to work retail, then don't.
My wife likes the deals and she comes back paying for stuff that's 3x more $ elsewhere
Good selection, but their is a shortage of employees. The store can look sloppy at times, and items need to be restocked, but it is obvious they do not have enough people working there. The lines are long to check out, but the merchandise is reasonable in price, and though they are obviously being worked hard, the staff is still kind and polite to their customers.
