Roundhead's Pizza Pub - Downers Grove

This is a good place to hang around with friends and watch your favorite sport team. They are known for their pizza, but over the years the pizza has changed. It's not as good as it used to be years ago, like when they were at the original location of 63rd. and Main St. The place is still a very popular local spot to go out and have lunch or dinner and a few drinks. The service can definitely vary from day time to night time and is hit or miss. The atmosphere is phenomenal and is also a good place to get food late at night, the kitchen closes at midnight. It's street parking only and there's also a public multi level parking behind the building which is only a short walking distance.

As always Another Round in Downers Grove did not disappoint. Their pizza has always been quite exceptional and very consistent. I’ve been living out of the country and made sure Another Round was my first stop for pizza. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5

Outstanding service! Lupe, the bartender, is awesome! Samantha, the GM, is awesome! Initially, my pizza came out lukewarm. When Lupe asked how everything was, I let him know the pizza was not hot. Lupe immediately had a new pizza made, and it came out perfect! Sam then came by, advising she was aware of the issue, and asked if the new pizza was good. Again, outstanding service! Thanks to Samantha and Lupe, I will be a regular at Another Round. #notworthy

The food here is great, and they have some pretty good drink deals here as well. $5 Jamesons on Friday’s. The wings were great, and same with the pulled pork mini sandwiches. We also got the cheese curds and the fried pickles, both of which were really good. Fries could’ve came out a little bit hotter but we had a table of 6 so we had a lot of food coming. Overall this is a nice spot for some bar food and a cool atmosphere. Our server was also super nice, although could’ve visited our table a little bit more. I’ll be coming back for the food and happy hour deals!

Service wasn't very good. The restaurant wasn't crowded and our server spent most of his time on his phone and talking with the other servers. I had to track him down 20 minutes after finishing to get a take home box and the check. Fish was good but should have been more fish than fries for the price. Also, menu did not include pricing except for add-ons.

Great sports bar. Lot's of big screens, TV monitors, large bar top area and lots of seating. We didn't order any food but they have typical bar fair, i.e. wings, burgers, sandwiches, pizza, etc. Good vibe and quite a few people for an early afternoon

We love having dinner here. We enjoy everything we order. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The food was really good. There are no prices on the menu.

Very tasty dinner. Appreciated the suggestion from our server regarding a beer selection. Very courteous and professional service.
