The Roxy Theater is one of a kind. Only $4 for a ticket, and then you can catch the best new movie next week as well for the same great price. Concessions are very reasonable too. Beautiful theater
Been there a number of times and we really enjoy it. Tickets are $4 for adults! It has been completely remodeled and is clean and the staff is always friendly. They've done a wonderful job with it. It's a classic slice of Americana and reminds me of the theater I attended growing up. They show new releases and the popcorn is good too.
Wonderful Theater for a minimal cost. Amazing staff. Playing the most requested new movies as soon as they can get them. Thankful for Camice making things happen.
We took our granddaughters to see the Little Mermaid. Theater was very clean. Employees were friendly. Very good value for our money

I love this place. It’s a great, small town theatre, only thing I don’t like is that it’s freezing so sit in the balcony because it’s a little warmer or dress in layers.
We love having the Roxy here but it’ll be the last time we buy soda for a show. No one is going to get a refill during a movie—-don’t want to miss movie or disturb other viewers. So when movie ends we expect to get a refill other theatres like Marcus etc don’t CLEAN up and clean the soda machine in order to h close up immediately after last person leaves!!! Really ? So that’s it….won’t get something to drink again. We’d always wanted to support the theatre by buying concessions but when they don’t allow refills at end of show it tells us they really don’t care about the customers.
In memory of Bob Boarman and all that he has done to make Shelbyville a great place to live. Having the Boarman Roxy Theater in town is just wonderful. We love having it so close and the theater is so nice.
A quaint small town theater that really adds character and life to the main street area. They generally show 1 movie per week at 6:30pm. If it is a hit they will hold it over an extra week. The tickets are very affordable and they offer all the traditional snacks. It isn't as flashy inside as some of the big theaters, the chairs are more basic, etc. But that comes with the territory. It is still comfortable and a fun place to go to see a film.
