Royal's was started in the 1920's by the late G.L. Royal. He came to the Glades area from south Georgia to escape the ravages of the boll weevil. Through his dedication and hard work, Royal's grew and prospered. In the 1960's Royal's experienced another growth period under the leadership of GL's oldest son Larry Royal. After college Larry expanded the business and looked for new areas of growth. One of those areas was furniture and Royal's furniture began as just a small area within a larger retail department store. Since the 1980's Royal's Furniture has grown to five store locations. It continues today under the same Christian principles that the founder began his business with some 80 years ago. We are a family oriented business that offers quality brand name furniture at an affordable price.
