Rubey Park

Located right in the heart of Aspen and a block and a half from the Ajax Silver Queen gondola, this transit center is a convenient place to catch and get a seat on a bus going to any of the surrounding mountains. Buses are efficient, signage is well marked. Great public transportation system

If you're going to Maroon Bells from Aspen, you can purchase ticket here with cash $8 and take the Castle Maroon bus to Highland Aspen free.

I was dropped off here to get to Aspen Mountains, and I took a bus back as well. The transit center is quite clean, well-organized with signs for different buses as well as schedules for them, and there was a person staffed inside the waiting area even after the sun had set. He was really friendly with helping me, and the waiting area was comfortable and warm. There's a board with all the approaching buses and in how many minutes the next one will arrive. The transit center's quite awesome, and there's even wifi!

Amazing small town, City bus for free

This is the place to catch FREE bus to Aspen Highlands Village. Then you must purchase the bus ticket to Maroon Bells. Much better than driving your there.

Free bus service to Aspen Highlands for those who plan to visit Maroon bells thereafter. The Transit center staff was helpful in assisting with bus schedules.

Bus driver parks a no service bus in front of the route im taking. The bus that goes that route parks elsewhere. I board that bus only for the driver to shove me back saying "no no". I ask which is the correct bus and i still get the same "no no" answer. Then i see the sign change to "no service". Why dont you update your sign to avoid confusing riders before you park?
