For the last 30 years, the ocean has been a source of inspiration since we first served the Original Fish Taco. Over the past few years, our menu has evolved to celebrate the ocean more than ever. Worst food and service. Do not go here! First the food, ordered the taco plate and there was brown, old lettuce in my tacos, taco shells were stone cold and cracked when I tried to pick up. It took forever for the FOUR people behind the counter to get order ready even though there were only two of other people in the restaurant at the time and they also hadn’t gotten their food. If I was closer when I figured this out, I would have gone back and asked for my money back! A wasted expensive $14 for old food! I thought it would be busier during lunch but now I know why.
They always manage to screw up an order then over charge you. Not worth the money. I ordered a taco especial plate and a chicken chopped salad. I got the salad but only one fish taco. They had the nerve to charge me over $5.00 for one soggy taco. Completely ridiculous to spend $21 and not get what was ordered. I called and I feel I should have been compensated for at least the uneatible taco. No , just a bunch of excuses .
Rubio's is a great place to get some quick food that's close to being authentic. The three taco special was good chicken and steak. I'll start adding some pictures from visits in the future.Food: 5/5
I’ve gone a few times during lunch hour from 11am-1pm and the wait was ridiculous, I had ordered online and still had to wait 20mins for my food, other walk ins had to wait 45mins. I had a burrito and the tortilla was cold and hard from sitting there for a while the only thing that made my food warm was the meat if not it would’ve been completely cold. Other than that the food is good there clearly super busy and staff does work fast, I do recommend if your on a time frame probably stay away from these hours.
Tired of Rubio's charging top dollars and consistently dropping the ball. Ordered two salads today, with corn, for which I paid extra. Salads were to go, one is super small, other one they put dressing on..both do not have the corn. This is not unique. Last time I was on hold for 20 minutes and continued to hold on phone while I decided to drive to the location and watch employees roam aimlessly. I placed order and told the cashier I am still on hold for 20 plus minutes, she shrugged her shoulders. From today's purchase, I am including reciept and picture and challenge management to look into this and improve quality and service if they care.
Floor was dirty and a bunch of the tables. Glad we ordered our food to go. On the way out I let a cashier know about the tables. Hopefully they address their sanitation issues. It can speak volumes.Dine in: NoOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Not a bad place for lunch. A little slow in prep once in a while but overall good. The staff is nice.Food: 4/5
We used to enjoy going to this particular Rubio's every once in a while but today's food lacked quality big time. With almost an empty store, service wasn't great either...a couple of customers besides us. Told the guy we've an online order. He goes to the prep area, looks around and just stands. Then another guy kindly acknowledged us so told him we've an online order. He leans over to the order pick-up shelf and tells the other guy our order was there. We had ordered two shrimp burritos which were supposed to have pan-seared shrimp with citrus rice, guacamole, black beans, salsa fresca, creamy chipotle sauce, and roasted chipotle salsa in a flour tortilla. Served with a side of tortilla chips. There was literally a half teaspoon of guacamole, a ton of rice, 4 little shrimps dumped on the tail end of one side of the burritos with little bit of chipotle sauce and a little bit of salsa in the same spot. A good 75% of the burritos was just rice with some beans. More than half of the chips in the bags were super soft because they weren't fully cooked. An absolute waste of money and trip for such food!!! Such a disappointment! Guess another customer already telling off the manager or staff was already a red flag. We'd rather go to Chipotle!!!
Food was hot, fresh and tasted good. Jermiah was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable in the menu. Great customer service!Food: 5/5
