I don't get how this place is 4.5 stars? It's too damb expensive and they overcook everything. My husband ordered medium rare steak and eggs. Steak was very overcooked. His toast was cold that butter wasn't even melted just a blob. So gross. I ordered an egg bacon cheese sandwich and my eggs were way overdone so it had that funny burnt egg taste. I returned it and second one was same. I just took it home for dogs. Then they want to charge you for paying with credit card. Wth? Coffee was 3.35? Really
I had the most wonderful experience during my first visit to Ruby's Pancake House in Minooka! We absolutely loved it—the food was incredibly delicious, the place was clean and inviting, and the customer service was truly exceptional. Highly recommended!Food: 5/5

Great breakfast stop. I enjoyed the eggs Benedict and pancakes this is a really great diner and I would definitely recommend. Service was good and the building is clean and tidy. Overall a great restaurant for breakfast.Food: 5/5
Cozy little spot. I was in the mood for pancakes and walked over from the pilot truck stop. there is no truck parking but im sure a trucker can fanagle it if they choose to. The burrito I ordered was huge and tasty. the pancakes were good but not above average. I feel the prices are too high for the food. 3 pancakes are $7.99 ...thats roughly $3 a pancake...Burrito was $8.99 and I added rice to it along with a Mexican coke, not even the medio litro, the smaller one,, came to $26.35 I support mom & pop cozy restaurants like this but feel if they adjusted their prices the world would open up to them. They were short on staff so I can understand dining in would take a while, as I saw only one waitress. Everyone is friendly here but they have some adjustments to make to reach 5 stars Food was tasty but not above average. The burrito was huuuuge. I got the Carne asada burrito added rice, no cheese no lettuce
The best steak with steak and eggs I've ever had!!! I can't wait to get back! Had a truck breakdown, on the phone with a shop trying to con me while the food was in front of me. But, when I did pick up that fork, my appetite came back strong and I couldn't believe how delicious that steak was!!!!

I have been going here since they first opened. The food is always good, the wine and beer reasonable, the service great.
The Mexican food I had was excellent. The breakfast that went by me also looked fantastic. Wish they were open later!
