Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Omg delicious! Just like it should be! Meat was excellent, as was service and atmosphere. My favorite were pork loin and baby back ribs! Small tip for owners/operators: corn on the cob tastes better if it is not sitting in hot water, as it gives off taste to the water.

Exceptional food and friendly service! We were visiting from out of town and stopped here for lunch and were not disappointed! The food was cooked perfectly and everything was fresh and well-seasoned. The turkey was moist and flavorful. My sister got a banana pudding that we were going to share but she had a bite and decided I needed to get my own. As a nurse, I was especially impressed with the large hand washing sinks lining the walls OUTSIDE of the bathrooms! We will definitely go back when we are in TX again!

Delicious food. Awesome vibe. Loved it. We got the brisket, and pork loin. Which I could have tried all the sides. I brought home brownies and Rice Krispies home as souvenirs for my kids and they kept well for several days.Recommended dishesBrisket Moist

Really wanted to like this place… but it’s just NOT there for me. Came to kill some time while charging my Tesla. Food is great, BBQ sauce sucks both flavors. I wouldn't even say it's a BBQ sauce, it's more like a spicy Cajun dressing. I ate the turkey sandwich, recommended by employee and it was delicious! Just disappointed about the BBQ sauce. I'll have to return to update review. Other than that, friendly employees & clean place for a quick pit stop restroom.

April 22 5:00 p.m.. ordered brisket sandwich. Didn't pay attention but they took all the dry trimmings that weren't being used and sitting out and put those on my sandwich I got to my table and it was like tough mesquite wood chips. You don't charge a man for Texas brisket and give them wood chips. The young children don't understand what they're doing and can't spell brisket and the manager there with the clipboard watching them doesn't understand it either. Worse barbecue experience I have ever had in Texas. It's a people thing. They're just going through motions for some unknown reason and don't know they're supposed to feed people good moist brisket not mesquite wood chips.

The food is very good and full of flavor. We've been here a few times. Today I purchased chicken, brisket and jalapeño sausage along with potato salad and beans. I got banana pudding as a dessert. They even let me taste any meat of my choosing to see if I liked it before I made the purchase. My only complaint was the banana pudding. Not enough pudding, bananas or cookies. It had a lot more whipped topping than anything else. It also lacked the flavor of the vanilla extract. I didn't taste it at all.

Good BBQ, just expect to wait in line for it: Been to a lot of Rudy’s and this one was toward the top. This was definitely one of the cleanest Rudy’s I’ve been to, which surprised me to be honest as I had always been to more run down and less attended to locations. The brisket with the original BBQ sauce is very good, also give their turkey a try as well. Potato salad, coleslaw, and Rudy’s beans are all great sides too.

First time trying Texas BBQ and man it was really delicious. The staff were really kind and helpful with me. They even gave me samples since I didn't know what to get. I would definitely go back to Rudy's again for their Brisket & Ribs!Food: 5/5

Daughter & myself ordered 3 moist brisket sandwiches. It was not moist, dry and tough as boot leather had to use a knife & fork to eat it, ditched the bread. Way over priced to begin with but today was horrible. Staff as was not friendly at all. This location was a great place until they closed for a time period, if that was the intention to improve it - that was a failed attempt. I usually recommend Rudys but after today I'm pretty sure I won't be back nor will I recommend them. Lady cleaning tables took it upon herself to grab my daughters purse to move it to get our trays instead of asking for the trays she just grabbed the purse which startled my daughter.
