Rwanda Bean Company was established to generate sustainable profits for coffee farmers throughout Rwanda by directly linking them to the market. By seeking to reverse the historically exploitive supply chain, our primary goal is to return the maximum value back to the farms.
We achieve this by:
Purchasing beans at a fair price, and investing 50% of our net profits in community development projects - from providing school fees and health insurance, to generating clean electricity in rural villages.
Our 50/50 profit model supports and empowers Rwandan farm communities.
