Amazing store. I think you could find anything you wanted to find at Saar’s. The produce selection is second to none! Everything is so fresh and priced right. I could spend a lot of time just browsing. The Asian food ingredient section is endless, there’s nothing you can’t find to prepare your favorite Asian dish. I’ve never seen anything like it! Wonderful store!

We love Saar's employees especially. They are so helpful and cheerful. It's really a happy place for shopping, don't let appearances of a budget supermarket fool you... The produce is excellent, cheap, and perfect for specialty produce like oyster mushrooms, Chinese eggplant and Thai chilis. And that's just the produce! If you're looking for treats from around the world or some special type of plum sauce, this is your place. And you'll also save a lot and get a cheerful smile at checkout. We love SAAR'S!

I LOVED this place! If you're looking for any food / snacks from overseas...this is where it's at. Look no further! I found 4 different ramen alone from overseas that I loved. The fresh vegetables available are great, meats and dairy towards the back are packaged good and ready to go. I'll definitely be returning here for my grocery needs and so should everyone else to at least check it out.

This is literally one of my absolute favorite stores in town. The people who work there are always friendly and helpful and they have all kinds of items you can't find anywhere else. This is my go to for any of my grocery needs!!

Went shopping for meats bought $200 worth well when we got home and was sorting it out into portions we found out that it was ALL BAD. It looked good on the top layer, but then it looked green and smelled really gross. Thin sliced steak, packs of chicken and salmon all bad! Will definitely not be buying from them again. It was a truck load sale and the expiration date is dated for a week after we bought.

Clean, great staff, customer service, amazing variety of Asian, cuisine, and tons of other cultural options. Great meat prices. Grocery outlet prices for good quality.

Cheapest grocery in town that doesn’t rely on random discounted secondhand merchandise like the “outlet” that’s in town. Pharmacy too makes it an easy one stop shop.

One of the largest selections of Asian grocery items I've seen. Even more than some places in YVR! Take a lookie. And the prices for , pieces of fried is !

We love this place. A lot of great deals on things, tons and tons of options, im pretty sure if you need anything you can get it here. Doesn't matter the style or type of food your looking to cook, everything from sea food octopus and squid even to stuff to make enchiladas to dairy free. Literally everything.

2/11 update Much better service today. It's always well stocked. Cashiers and stockers could be more friendlier. I was looking for something, and guy seemed upset that I stopped and asked him about an item. Then, when I went to check out. It wasn't busy but 4 cashiers were huddled around 2 registered. As I approached, one liked at me with attitude of "great no more chilling, boots I gotta go back to work." Of course, the register I went to was hers. She didn't waste any time getting back to their conversation after I checked out my 2 items.
