People are friendly and helpful. Deli was stocked at 9am, and do was bakery. Flowers were lovely and your could get a vase for what ever the ocation.
Open until 1am, which is better than anything we have on the South end of the island. Great produce section and they have a decently-sized section of weird, different fruits you don't normally see in the big name grocery stores. Huge parking lot, conveniently located right next to Walmarts huge parking lot! Make sure to get Safeway app for coupons and deals!
Friendly staff, good location next to Walmart so you can easily get everything you need the only downside is the store is always busy, never seems to slow down. So the inventory takes a hit a lot.
Update! 02/02/2023 This store is incredibly mismanaged. I tried using the curbside service again and they always add substitutions when I say I don't want them and I end up getting charged more than the original quote. This is the last time. The store manager needs to be retrained or replaced. Sometimes I need the curbside service and I can't trust this store with my orders. I have been using the stores curbside service since it started in 2020. It was really good and I always got reasonable substitutions. But lately....I recieve chicken that expires on the day I ordered it. A unused coupon on the pack of meat. Just ridiculous stuff. I was told that the store manager pushes the staff to pick older products to rotate product. In theory this is what a store should do. Unless its meat that is expired. I started going to the Anacortes store because they seem to carry a little more about the customer. I kept trying cause I wanted to shop in my town but I guess not. A well placed order went from 82.00 to 96.00 very quickly.
Like that the store doesn't need to bring product into the store and block isles to refill products. However an overwhelming amount of products were backwards where I was unable to tell how the product in one row differed from another. This caused me to stand with the door open so could find what I wanted.
Forgot eggs in my cart. No problem, come back and go grab them from the frozen section. Forgot to use my phone number for savings. No problem, here's $5. Holy moly...that's good service.
Clean store with a lot to offer. Great place to get pre-made meals or visit to the deli. Huge selection of wine and spirits. Friendly staff.
Very well stocked through Thanksgiving week, clean, and super friendly and helpful employees but why does everything need to be so expensive!!
The deli makes a mean sandwich. Mike and Angel are sandwich artist for sure.
Inventory, inventory, inventory. Is it possible to stock shelves before opening doors in the morning? This is my go to store and it usually has everything I need. One item I use a lot has been out of stock forever and that’s distilled water. The staff is helpful and the people in customer service are a pleasure to deal with.
