Chris and the staff at the two locations I have been seen at are extremely helpful and do a great job.
I’ve been a patient with Saco Bay Physical for 3 different times. Each time has been like the first. Sam will listen to you, and set up exercises, weights, Stim therapy, as you may need. He’ll try to push you, if he thinks you are ready. He’ll have you back off to comfort level easier for you, if first is too much. I’ve been more than satisfied with them. I highly recommend Saco Bay Pt.
A welcoming and professional atmosphere. Conversation during pt was informative and sometimes just fun. Both PTs I dealt with, Sam and Melissa, were knowledgeable and up to speed on what I was dealing with and the treatment I needed. Definitely recommend Saco Bay! Oh and I got a very cool tee shirt
I have had recurrent back pain in both my lower back and upper back for many years. The lower back pain started in the 1990's. I went to a couple of physical therapists in Minnesota and then after moving to Maine I went to 3 physical therapists. I only had slight relief from pain after physical therapy. In 2008 I had an MRI that showed I had spinal stenosis. I then had a spinal fusion of L3 and L4 which improved my pain a great deal. In 2006, I drove my granddaughter to Philadelphia to see the historical attractions. I had my car seat farther back than I should have and had to lean forward to reach the steering wheel. Driving for 2 days straight in that position and then 2 days on the way home caused damage to my disc between T5 and T6 in my thoracic spine which was excruciatingly painful. I went to 3 different physical therapists at that time with out relief. Over the following years I had steroid injections in my thorassic spine about 6 times. In 2013, I had an MRI which showed the damage to the disc and was referred to physical therapy for lower back work. I decided to try the Saco Bay Physical Therapy in Gorham. Sam Lasher started me on lower back exercises until I gave him a copy of my MRI report. He then gave me exercises for my upper back which were amazing in their ability to control the pain in my upper back. I was so impressed at the help he gave me, I will not go to any other physical therapist. I am currently going to him for a butt and leg pain that was diagnosed as an ischial bursitis by my doctor. I am now much improved from that problem but will continue the physical therapy until the problem is totally gone. Since the fusion, the stress on my spinal joints as a result of the fusion has begun to damage the joints on either side of the fusion. My current exercises are helping that problem also.
I had a terrible ankle injury, but thanks to Sam Physical Therapist, I was able to recover much faster than expected. Extremely helpful therapists who are also a lot of fun.
Very pushy about $$$. Constant phone calls to schedule appointments. I have switched to another facility because of the front office lady! The PT was friendly, but I can’t handle being haggled for $$$ to pay $120 in copays weekly!!
What can I say nice, knowledgeable, really seem to care about me getting better, not pushing more visits like the last place I went to. I will be recommending Saco Bay in the future.
Both Sam's are equally knowledgeable and caring in the helping of getting people back to working pain free. Would highly recommend them for therapy
A warm and caring experience. A good listener and pleasant person to be in company with. Very calming and relaxing.
If there was 10 stars I would give that to them. I'm very satisfied. They are professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
