I recently had a major surgery here, 2 days ago. I want to thank everyone that I came in contact with. Everyone was so kind, caring and professional, from beginning to end. I do have to say a special thank you to the surgery team, they made sure I was comfortable, I didn't have to need for anything at all. The surgery team was very Knowledgeable in their expertise. Your hard work is very much appreciated. I just can't thank you enough for making a tough surgery as comfortable as possible. Thank you Thank You Thank You.
I had never been to Saddleback MC before and I can tell you the care provided in the Cardiac Cath Lab and CVOU was outstanding! The quality of the all the staff was so good. The nurses and techs were knowledgeable, caring, professional and attentive. Access was timely and exceeded my expectations. I was admitted and confidently discharged on the same day! Wow....great experience.
It's been a few weeks since my mom passed at hospice in Saddleback Memorial but I have to give their staff, specifically their ICU and nursing staffs a heartfelt "THANK YOU". The nurses who tended to my mother the last few days of her life were truly caring professionals and I was blessed to have encountered them on the final days that I spent with my mom. Just a quick shout out to Colleen, Jessica, Marina, Jamie, Rudy, Michele, and Freddy and many others who made my mom's last few days peaceful. What you all did was to start my healing as soon you got involved. This hospital has an exemplary management and personnel. Bless you all.
I had to unfortunately go to the ER a couple days ago for the worst migraine I have had in life. The nurse that was assigned to my bed treated me crummy, was condescending and made me very upset. She did not care about me. She found it important to tell me how much pain medication I had. When the doctor said I could have more nausea medication she conveniently forgot. When I asked for blankets because I was shivering she left a folded blanket at my feet and offered no assistance. When it was time to go I could barely stand and no help was offered. I said I couldn’t walk out she again stated about the pain meds, thanks I know. Someone wheeled me out. I threw up in the lobby. No one did anything or even turned to help me. It was very upsetting. I thought hospitals were places to go for care? To help and aid when you cannot do so on your own? If I have 15 minutes to live and this is the closest hospital I will take my chances somewhere else so I’m not treated like a criminal. The one star goes to the doctor, he was fine and I didn’t have any issues with him. He did his job and wasn’t condescending.
HORRIBLE!!! Sent there by my son’s pediatrician due low white blood cell count. He was in pain. Not doing well. The nurse who determines the amount of pain said he was fine. A kid who came i’m with a football injury was seen before us. 8 HOURS later is when he saw the doctor. Nurses were horrible. Busy socializing. I had to approach ours several times. I was also seen for something. They put me in a room with others and a “nurse” comes in an talks to you in front of others about what’s happening with you. Which isn’t their some privacy factor factor there. AND all she did was offer Vicodin. Each one of us. I didn’t take it. Her fix was Vicodin. Shameful place. The only reason I gave it two stars was the doctor who saw my son was great.
My pregnancy journey started with Dr. Shelia Dejbakhsh. She is one of the kindest, and knowledgeable, and most caring Dr that I have ever met. I did my delivery in Saddleback Hospital on May 19. Saddleback Hospital is one of the best hospitals, of curse, because of the wonderful and hardworking staff. They treated you like five stars hotel. I want to thank Jessica, Kelsey, Suzan, and Whitney, and Kyla for being so sweet, and the most incredible thing about these people is the team working. You guys made unforgettable memories for me and my family. We love you, and God bless you and your lovely family.
Went for an angiogram and I was extremely nervous. However, the nurses especially nurse Sahar and Dr. Robert Masters at this hospital are extremely knowledgeable and kind. Along with a sense of humor, they put me at ease. Wonderful administrative staff too.
There are enough older female employees who are angry, aggressive, snotty, easily triggered, or otherwise behaviour problems ruin this environment of care in many ways. The RNs in the ICU are damn good at what they do but many of the other adult female Registered Nurses are overwhelmed introverts with Associates Degrees from the local Jr. College and a severe lack of real world experiences. The angriest, most passive aggressive older women ruin the giving of care. They in fact, MAKE work-and harder for themselves and those around them. It is quite entertaining to watch really. I found quite a number of the older female RNs behaving in an intimidating, hostile, passively disruptive, and undermining manner. This, meeting their own personal status needs or to generate emotional equity, is alarming. Obviously not all of them, however the civil RNs do little to curtail the angry, disruptive female RNs. Teams run less effectively here due to this behaviour. Embarrassing giving the women's attempts at status. Male Sheriff Deputies loiter in the ER chatting with female hospital employees. There's are some extremely competent RNs however Mgrs seem to be unable to reel in grown adult older female RNs. Then again, women personalize, it's part of being an American female, and their overt and passive hostility is flagrantly displayed and unchecked at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center.
Rude Staff and Nurses. No direct communication between doctors and nurses. Everything done through computer system. Could not get any information after surgery, and what was done. The staff could never live up to Kaisers Permanents Standards. Here they all look depressed and don't bother them. Choose another hospital for any procedure. The ER may be different but doubt it.
I called to schedule an appointment with the gyno in March. The woman that answered asked why I wanted to schedule an appointment…um for my vaginal health.. and if I’ve been having any issues and I told her my issues but that wasn’t my main reason for calling. She said she didn’t have an opening for like a few months. Which was fine. I just needed my yearly check up, then in which I thought they would go over the other concerns I’ve been having. The day of my appointment I called to confirm and she was like yep we have you down for 2:15 for a consult. I said no, that’s not what I originally called for. She said in the system it said my issue and that was the reason for my visit. They said they can’t cover my issue and do the yearly check up on the same appointment. How dumb is that? I have to take off work multiple times, and pay multiple copays because they entered my information incorrectly and they can’t do it in one shabang.I have never been to a gyno that can’t get everything covered in one visit. I canceled my appointment. Ridiculous.
