4.7 stars. Food was above average although not the best I have had, it was fresh, well seasoned and overall delicious. I got the spring roll summer roll and that was absolutely 5 stars. Get that! The atmosphere is fancy, and nice! Loved it! The service was excellent, attentive and fast! They didn’t have sparkling water, that’s ok. EXCELLENT VALUE $30 with tip and delicious. I would DEFINITELY go back and probably will. They are closed each day from 3-4pm, so be advised.
It’s a nice little south asian restaurant in Colorado Springs downtown. They have good variety of noodles, lowmein, sandwiches and many other south asian dishes. Parking would be difficult at times. They have won many awards for their great food and services. Would highly recommend this restaurant. Vegetarian options: Not too many vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: There is very little vegan or vegetarian options Parking: This restaurant being right next to a busy road in downtown it is often difficult to find parking. However, there is a big paid parking lot right next to it Kid-friendliness: Kids friendly, kids would love their noodles and sandwiches Wheelchair accessibility: Yes easy and wide accessibility
Ok. This might be a long one. As a Chef, and lover of everything Pho, this place disappointed me. I drove 11 hours from Texas and arrived in Colorado Springs last Monday to work the next 4 days. A good friend recommended that I pay a visit to Saigon Cafe, so I did. I was craving egg rolls and Pho. I will begin this review with a positive. I was properly greeted by the hostess upon entry and sat at a two-top with a street view. I ordered the eggrolls for an appetizer, and I was pleasantly surprised with the set up. I used the condiments provided to make miniature wraps, and they were good. Then I ordered the supreme pho. This is where my disappointment began. 10 minutes after ordering, someone other than my waiter dropped off my dinner. I stare across the room, and my waiter is sitting at the bar eating staring at his phone. Not once did he ever come back to my table to check on me. I was needing some extra condiments, but nope, he continued to eat and play on his phone. I was really upset, as I specifically told him that I drove 11 hours to eat Pho and that I was really excited. Eating in front of customers while working is very inappropriate and unsanitary. I NEVER let my employees eat while on shift...only before and after. The Pho broth was thick with star anise flavor profile and the essence of that spice overpowered everything else...Overall, I will not be back. I hope the owner reads this and fixes their overall customer service. I ended up having to approach the manager to get my check to pay..The waiter said NOTHING! What a disappointment. Oh well some days chickens...some days feathers...This place is not for me..
Cute little cafe in downtown Colorado Springs, good menu options. I had the lomein and it was very good. I had to park a block away at a meter.Food: 5/5
EXTRAORDINARY dinner all around. Server was nice in explaining a dish and the differences it might have from other restaurants. Food came out fast. Ambiance is nice with the classical music in the background. Not too loud/soft—just right! Will definitely come back here!!!
After a less than ideal experience with Vietnamese food when last I had it, I decided to try again at this intriguing place, and I was fully impressed. The plump, robust shrimp they provide in the shrimp lo mein are the most savory you'd typically find outside the Caribbean, and the iced tea was a soothing delight on a blazingly hot day. The atmosphere is a bit lacking, but the interior is spacious, and the service is exceptional.
Like honest reviews? Follow me After the Quinn I thought I'd give this place a try after all these years of passing by it. I ordered my food to go, took it home and added some brown rice noodles. Delish!Food: 5/5
Food was good for local standards, not in comparison to Vietnamese food in larger cities, service was friendly, but you better plan on leaving at 8pm on a weeknight. The restaurant closes at 8:30 pm. At 8:10 the manager/owner? told me to sign my bill because she needed to close the register I didn’t realize I was the last person there and then they started vacuuming. Had they asked, I would have happily ordered, dessert, coffee, and a brandy. Instead I left disappointed at being treated poorly, and I won’t be back.
I really loved the pork and rice at this place, great flavor and a substantial portion. They have a big selection as well as good Asian beers. I haven't seen too many Vietnamese places in COS but this is definitely my go-to!
The pho isn't on the menu but if you ask for it they will make it for you. Got the vegetarian bowl shown, with beef broth. Delicious and reasonably priced, one size bowl = about medium sized. Exceptional service, and on a cold day the perfect thing to warm you up. Get the green tea for a dollar, totally worth it.Food: 5/5
