1st time dinning here. Tried 7 course beef, it was extremely disappointing. There was no flavor to any of the beef. The stinky dipping sauce looked so watered down. Tried same dishes at a different restaurant & this did not come close. When the food was placed on the table, the 1st impression was wth, what is this? The beef congee was definitely not congee, it was pasta! Asked the manager & he said it's called congee because they don't have a word for pasta. Will NEVER come back to this place again.
Nice, simple place. Very good food, reasonably priced. Typical light Vietnamese flavors with the option to spice things up. I did notice they water the soap down in the women's restroom to the point where it just squirts out like straight water. Needed to mention, so they might stop doing that, because even though it's just mildly annoying, it's like, come on. Tipped them $20 on a $29 bill, so hopefully they put that towards soap.... Like, I'll BUY you soap. Don't skimp on THAT when the restroom isn't even nice to begin with. Still 5 stars overall.
Usually order medium grill fish takeout. Don’t have to wait long. The order comes with grilled catfish, bean sprouts, cucumbers, pickled carrots, peanuts, fish sauce, mam nem sauce, rice paper, and sometimes green bananas.Food: 4/5
Horrible owners. Always have an attitude. Never smile and never seem welcoming. The lady owner needs to keep her personality and attitude in check. Place need to be shut down. Bathroom is disgusting. That place is a walking disease with all the neglect.Food: 2/5
My sister and I shared the 7 beef orders. It was enough for two people. You have the rice paper that you roll up with your veggies and meat to make your very own spring roll. The service got slow once we got our food also more people showing up. There were only two waiters for the lunch crowd. I would definitely eat here again!Food: 5/5
One of my favorite places to visit when visiting Houston. The 7 courses of beef is excellent as well their beef vinegar fondue. Portions are large enough to share.Recommended dishesBo La Lot, Squid with Lemongrass, CA Nuong, Com GA Roti, Fried Rice, Bun Cha, Banh Hoi, Bò 7 Món, Beef Dinner, Bo Tom Muc Nuong VI, Nem Nướng, Bánh Hỏi
The salad that was served was fresh, not your typical salad dressing, but the shrimp dressing was good. The carrots are the best!! You get to grill your own meat, shrimp, squid and wrap it in a thin clear tortillas. The catfish was crunchy and good. They give you a separate water bowl to wash your hands :
Excellent! The food was fantastic! Great service. Another treasure found. I've never been here before but I'm definitely coming back. I think I'm turning into a legit foodie LOL LOL. Great service. The food was fresh and delicious.
PSA: Food was cold and not fully cooked. Looked like they recycle the vegetables and Banh Trang. Waiter was nice but forgot to put in an order and then forgot to bring us part of our 7 beef course. Gave me and my husband food poisoning. For the price, it’s just not worth it. Unsure why they are so busy when the quality and sanitation is lacking. All the 4-5 stars are misleading. Recommend you eat somewhere else.
Good place for all the spring roll, authentic vietnamese roll, grill whole fish, and 7 courses of beef. Food is fast, service is awesome. Highly recommend for everyone
