These reasons may be why a second hospital has opened. First review the hospital got deleted. So, here's a second one. Er and ICU were great. Regular floors VERY substandard care provided. Feces left in chair for many hours, sores allowed to get worse, eye drops not given which has caused loss of sight now and made them blind, 15 minutes at least to get a call light answered, days went by the board wasn't changed to know who was caring for the patient. When the hospital leaves you a phone number to call them about the issues it just rings and rings, no one answers. 1 nurse and 2 CNAs were good, the rest need to have their licenses taken by the state.
Started participating in cardio pulmonary rehabilitation sometimes in May of this year. When I started the program I was on oxygen 24/7. I graduated on August 7. Now I only need it at night while sleeping. Well, occasionally I do you use it during the day at times. I'm continuing with there maintenance program to keep my lungs strong. It has changed my life and the girls there are the best. They are wonderful.
The drs, nurses & other staff were not only extremely friendly but also very helpful, patient & understanding; they took excellent care of me & made sure they took the time to explain any procedures I had to have done in a way that made sense to me; I will always be appreciate of the hard work the nurses of St Francis put in caring for each & every one of their patients
If the emergency room had more doctors like Dr. Mitchell, it would be awesome!!! All of the nurses in the ER are great, but the other doctors in the ER could learn a thing or two from Dr. Mitchell. Also, I have had 3 different surgeries at your hospital 2 serious back surgeries and one to get my tubes and ovaries removed. Everyone involved in surgery at your hospital is excellent, very caring and thorough. And the nurses on the 5th floor where I was after both back surgeries are top notch!!! I also would like to suggest that Dr. Patel in the emergency room either learn some bedside manner or find a new profession. He is very cold and condescending, and absolutely WILL NOT treat you for what you are needing treatment for. Also, don't expect to get your pain addressed by him as he ignores it. You could be on the floor, writhing in pain and he will give you one Tylenol.
Great experience! In and out in no time. And the quick results put my mind at ease. Although I had breast cancer and surgery 38 years ago, I still feel a bit nervous until I get those results back. Just knowing that I am staying on top of it is so important!
Super friendly staff, prompt care when asked for it, great location toward center of city. Husband needed many diagnostic tests which were promptly given. Nursing was excellent. Large private rooms with loveseat for guests, recliner, private patient bathroom...all were kept very clean. Food was good in balanced meals. Guest food trays available.
Everything was handled very well. I was checked in right when I entered the doors, taken back for my mammogram within 5 minutes. The nurse completing my mammogram was so very kind and caring. She made sure that my comfort was what was the most important. Thank you for great service.
This was great. Took my schedule test, was in and out in 30 minutes or less. The only thing I don't understand with is: 1. You have us do an on line check in. You answer all the questions about yourself. Spend about 20 minutes doing this. You get clarification that your all set and checked in. 2. A day before you have to go to your appointment you get a call saying they have to do a check in with you and ask all the same question you answered in the online check in. You spend another 20 minutes answering again all the same question you answered in the online check in. 3. You go to your appointment and when you get there you have to they give you a paper to check yes or no questions that you have already answered in the online check in, and the phone call the day before. Otherwise everything was great. The young lady that did my test was amazing. So kind and compassionate. Very happy young lady and good at her job.
Communication skills lack of been waiting all day for a call re husband time of surgery so I can plan accordingly for work to be gone. Only found 1 nurse that went above and beyond Michelle V the other nurses cursing at the desk and in the patient room it was rediculous
Dr Mitchell was thorough and very professional. Explained the causes and effects for my condition. I left the hospital with peace of mind. All the nurse’s were very efficient and caring, they made the visit to the emergency room a less frighting.
