I went with my husband to the emergency room and we were there from 8:30pm to 1:00am, he had renal colic and inside the emergency room they neglected I call someone several times and only said that they were seeing other patients and now I wanted to know how they were doing if they had any. about 10 standing still and the doctor himself on the computer, this bunch of people inside the emergency room could be sent away because they are only there to get money from the government, we left the emergency room without assistance and NOBODY SAW IT, in other words, they really just make volume and then come to say that the emergency room was full service at the front desk was quick and courteous.
DO NOT come to this hospital. I went in voluntarily to the hospital to get seen after suffering from a stillbirth 2 weeks prior. As soon as I got checked in, they treated me like a prisoner, yup I was sectioned for 72 hours. Mind you after birth you are still bleeding. Got denied a shower and pads, even when I still had stitches in me. Gave me nothing to drink but coffee the entire 72 hours. I got sectioned because of a behavioral health clinician Laura. She thought by helping a women with postpartum would be best by locking her up in looney Ben. That lady Laura needs to be in a different department. Too old to be speaking for mental health patients . Saints do better!
My wife went to the ER room at 9:30 in the morning with my 1 year old son with high fever.. The RN just took his temp but never got Tylenol. She was waiting 6 hours in order for our son to get seen. This is a waste of time THIS HOSPITAL SHOULD RECEIVE INFANTS FIRST Instead of having them waiting 6 hours for them to get seen… Thank God my son was still alive when he got seen. I had to take my son to Boston Children’s Hospital were I didn’t have to wait for 6 hours in order for my baby to get seen!!!! I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL AT ALL!!!!
Came to this hospital 3 times hoping the wait time will be different but it seems to get worse I kept asking how much longer but they just keep saying I don’t know! The worst of all you spend all your time waiting just so the doctor can take a look at you for 2 mn and send you home I’m so sorry but that very poor service! I won’t be coming to this hospital anymore even if it means I have to drive farther
I had the worst experience. My friend had so bad abdominal pain even she couldn’t walk, but they waited us for 4 hours. She was crying and asking for help but still nobody was supportive. The most important thing is that they doesn’t have patient privacy. They put all the patients next to each other. Come on!! People doesn’t want to share the medical issue with others. Confidentially is so important specially place like hospital.
I was just there this morning. The staff at the front desk was great. Instead of telling me where to go, they took the time and walked me to my location. Then, the registration person treated me respectfully and was very friendly. The tec that took my exrays she was very caring and did her job perfectly.
I have been so sick the past few months, in and out of the ER with UC pain and flares, every time I go to this ER I have a good experience. I do end up waiting but that’s expected in an ER but I’m always treated with compassion and excellent bedside Manner. I had a nurse last night on 7/11 I didn’t catch her name but she was a complete angel to me the entire 7 hours I was there. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience for being complete EFFING miserable with nausea….. I’ll always come here. But mostly I’ll come in the middle of the night so I don’t have to wait too long ….lol
Just had a test done and it was definitely one of the best medical experiences I’ve ever had. Rad tech Kelly was informative and helpful. The radiologist sorry doctor, I forgot your name explained everything so I knew what would happen next. I was in and out of the building in under 30 minutes. Great medical facility.
Was sent here from work , diverticulitis, they gave me something for the pain , the kicker is they sent me knowing I was driving, I COULD NOT KEEP THE CAR STRAIGHT ON THE ROAD !!! I drove over 25 miles to get home. I was so scared and prayed all the way , they just wanted me out. No compassion ,no bedside manner. I overheard them tell the man if he don't allow them to operate, then she'll DIE !!!! AGAIN, NO COMPASSION OR BEDSIDE MANNERS. Maybe AI should take over the medical world after we as humans have forgotten how to treat one another. LOWELL SAINTS STAFF SUCKS !!!!
My mom booked an appointment a few days ago to see her PCP because she hasn't been feeling right. She has a history of transient ischemic attacks mini strokes. The doctor concluded that it would be best if she went straight from the doctors office to the ER and got an MRI as soon as possible. I understand long waits should be expected when visiting an ER, and hopefully, the most critical patients are always seen first. I have personally been to this particular ER, maybe 10x over the past year or so due to my own medical issues. Unfortunately, we have had to interact with the same triage nurse named Shannon on multiple occasions. She's the blonde one with the attitude who almost always has snarky remarks. We check in, and one of the first things she says to my mom is that she's probably not having a stroke and "Don't you have a PCP?" As to why are you coming here then. She can't be bothered. I've watched her instigate arguments with patients and even call security afterward. Some people aren't cut out for that setting. It sure isn't easy. It does take a strong person to work those positions, but when you start speaking rudely to people and treating them like they don't matter is not acceptable. After having the CT, we were sent back to the ER waiting room, and that's where we stayed for almost 6 hours. We asked for a few updates here and there in between. We remained patient while seeing at least 3 other patients go running in and out the door while the staff had to chase them down. The staff needs more help. They're overwhelmed, and I can't imagine they are being properly compensated for all that they do. Finally, we asked for an update from the doctor who was listed to see my mom. A nurse comes back a little while later and says that the doctor is with a critical patient and won't be able to see my mom at all. So she will try to find a PA who will be able to see her. At that point, we just had to leave. Enough was enough. Almost 6 hours and still not being seen for signs along with the history of strokes. We are going to have to go to another facility now. All those hours were just a waste of time.
