Sal’s by Victor is a family run restaurant specialized in both southern and northern Italian cuisine.

Established in 1974, our restaurant is open daily from 11AM for lunch and dinner till 11PM and it features everything you would expect from a traditional Italian pizzeria or from a great family-style Italian restaurant. Victor Minichiello and his staff use the finest ingredients when preparing fresh pastas, veal, chicken, and heart-healthy sauces.

This was my favorite restaurant of our entire vacation. The food was savory, authentic, wonderful—no, it was just perfect. The calamari was perfect, the pasta was perfect, the wine was even perfect. Don’t forget the cannolis, by the way. I forgot to take photos of it, but they were very good.
We chose this place because it was open late, when we arrived after 9pm the place was still popping. Our server was excellent, the owner and/or manager is present in the dining area making sure costumers are happy. We ordered a philly sandwich, fettuccine, and pizza to share. We enjoyed it all. Reasonable prices. Parking: Lots of parking. Wheelchair accessibility: No steps
Sal's is the Real Deal in Italian restaurants! Wonderful pasta dishes , great service, fantastic wine cellar, and a relaxing family vibe. Did I mention the desserts are divine?? The Tiramasu is phenomenal and the Lemon cake is off-the-hook!! The pizza looked great, too! Never had a bad meal. Check them out next time you are hungry for "True" Italian. 7-1-22 Still the best of Williamsburg!!
This restaurant is amazing in every way, the staff were absolutely beautiful people , our waitress was the sweetest and went above and beyond to help us figure out exactly what to eat beings there were so many good options and it was our first time. The food, let’s just say it was the best Italian food I’ve ever had. I’ve never written a review before , but I just wanted it to be known that this is a great restaurant.
Excellence! I loved everything about Sal's. Definitely my favorite dining experience. The Pappardelle Al Ragu was simply perfect. The meat sauce was so complex for such a simple dish. Next level authentic shrimp scampi and the pizza was a winner, if you asked my son and I agree. The prices were excellent and even when someone in our party asked about the portion, they accommodated us. Thank you Sal's! Kid-friendliness: Great choices and prices for kids. Delicious food! We’d love to come back and try more dishes on the menu! We were seated quickly and the red sauce was delicious. We also ordered a chicken parm sub and it was so good! Pasta dish and pizza were delicious! Can’t wait to come back :
We ordered delivery from here twice during our vacation!!! I was blown away on how delicious their pizzas were!!! I was in love with the seafood pizza, since I have never seen this on an American menu!! I ate this all the time living in Germany, but immigration to Florida I have never seen it, and everyone looks at me funny. Long story short, out of this world delicious!!
Absolutely amazing. We are traveling to see our son at Ft. Eustis and I looked for local with good reviews. It did not disappoint! It way exceeded our expectations. The food is good and fresh. The wine selection is out of this world. The desserts are a different story- oh. my. gosh! Just. Happiness in my mouth! It is reasonably priced. Around $20/adult meal. Under $10 for dessert. 6 hungry adults 4 are young soldiers for less than $200. I consider it a good deal! Glad I found this gem.
Okay, first of all, let me say the food and our server really leveled this place up. It was a very busy Friday night and they were one of the few places able to sit our party of 10 with no notice. There was a nice gentleman going around playing music, the place was bustling with people. If we were not in the corner, and my daughter not deathly afraid of bugs, we probably would not have noticed the cockroach that climbed up the wall behind my daughter and disappeared behind a picture frame. It was disgusting and I had serious reservations about the cleanliness of the kitchen after that. If everything else had not been on point, we definitely would have immediately left. All of our dishes were tasty and cooked well and every other aspect of our meal was great.
Our server was excellent. We started with some very disappointing salads & what tasted like old bread. Our appetizer of mozzarella and roasted peppers tasted good. My husband had penne pasta with vodka sauce, that he loved. I had pumpkin ravioli that was great. We ended dinner with some delicious dessert of lemoncello & marscapone cake and cannoli.
