The drivers as well as the staff working at the window are super helpful and very polite. If you're unsure of where you need to go, what transfer to take, arrival/departure times, don't hesitate to ask! They are quick to help and will direct you where you need to go. Salinas isn't somewhere you should just wander the streets until you find your destination, its a big town. Utilize the buses. They are quick and safe.
It's very clean, it's picked up, no trash laying around! There are food and drink vending machines if you get hungry or thirsty!
Honest I love the bus system they got in place. But I am done with this. You guys messed up everything. I’ve been arriving late to my work Because the bloody 20 comes every hour. It used to be 30 minutes. I know I have to get used to taking an early bus but still I can’t make my connection. Too early I’ll still miss the bus. The bus is the reason I save money. I’m going to start using Uber or Lyft as a last resort. Even some drivers have expressed their frustration with this messed up schedule. If anyone feels this way please express your concerns with MST customer service. This isn’t fair. I’m not going to say people should stop taking the bus as a point to getting things back to normal. But it will happen. I do hope they bring the bus schedule to it’s normal schedule For students and people that have work or have to make their daily errands
Mid service because of the schedules right now. Need more frequency on the weekends for line 41 and 48. Good service thought apart from that.
I enjoyed the buses when they had an express to Soledad, none stop. Now there’s no more 84 to Soledad. But that’s not all. What’s ridiculous is all the buses have weird schedules now, one bus every hour how? Really miss taking the bus. Now I rely on Lyft, or Uber. I hope they fix this mess. If they need drivers good luck. Most of the area has pure bad luck finding work, or hiring. But I hope they get their bus problem sorted out. It’s not fair for us to miss work or school because of someone’s bad choice to cut the bus arrival schedule by an hour.
Lots of service with small budget. A lot could be done to improve efficiency like using one payment system but they try and accommodate all types of payment. I appreciate the availability of the buses which has saved me a lot of money in transportation. Even with passes it is very cheap depending on how many buses you have to ride. I like using Google maps which really makes it easy to find routes with eta.
The drivers are usually great but a couple of times they have been real asses. I see some of the people they have to deal with everyday but your a representative of your company, act like it please. I have many drivers that are very friendly. I guess there are always a few rotten eggs in the basket.
MST! Roger on bus 24 superb! Personable and just a great driver! Too bad he has left the job. More drivers like Roger, please!
There is an obese man who hangs out there collecting recycling that I would love to date, sadly he is straight but he is still nice to see. Also there was another very large man who would frequent the station that wore big glasses and wore the same grey jacket everyday. If anyone knows who these two big beautiful men are please let me know!
These buses are not punctual at all. There is a bus I ride from downtown Monterey, 76, to Fort Ord that either comes too early or too late. I often end up either waiting for the bus 10-15 minutes or missing my bus, even though I get at the bus station on time.
