Sometimes you can use the restrooms I always have someone asking for a smoke money or anything else they think they can hit you up for it's a typical transit center located in a downtown American City it's not a place to spend time or hang out get in and get out and bring hand sanitizer you'll feel better if you do
This place is kind of nice for the most part there's a lot of homeless people but even the homeless people are really nice. You might get asked for a cigarette quite often but it's still pretty peaceful.
The Ronstadt Center is quite overdue for a complete redesign & redevelopment, & I just hope that I live to see it. We're talking about the potential for a world-class mass-transit & multi-purpose centerpiece that should serve the needs of all Tucsonians & our visitors for decades to come! The Ronstadt in its current form is at best functioning adequately to serve the local transportation needs of Tucson's working lower class & homeless, who quite often cannot be visually differentiated. I would argue that the least that could be done is to get the bathrooms working & keep them working & to please let us all know they're open when you do so! I don't like being penalized because of what others do with straws & tin foil. Isn't that what all of the security & TPD presence is there for? Please just keep it all secure & functioning properly for us the way that it was intended to function from the beginning for real people that have real civilized needs. We may be struggling in the lower class but we're not animals.
Today it was not crowded. Everyone was a good mood. I am on the bus back home now can't take a photo
It was very loud. Buses were on time. There was also a good TPD foot patrol .
So much life downtown now that it made it pretty interesting being at the Ronstadt but interesting in a good way because honestly I feel like I could get stuck downtown at the Ronstadt all day long and not even be mad about it!
Saturday and Sunday are slow peaceful days usually a lot of homeless people hang out here
The downtown Ronstadt Center is a very efficient and well designed layout for finding your bus and waiting for your bus. In recent months for a while the open drug use at this location was beginning to have a very negative impact on bus patrons and I would imagine tourists or person visiting from out of town would have gotten an bad taste from such. I must applaud the local police department and the Ronstadt employees for putting a stop to the open drug use and the all day loitering of persons asking for money. I do recommend the Ronstadt Center for your transit service center.
Catch the bus , ride the modern street car all thru 4th Ave , thanks Suntran for all you do you deserve 10 gold stars
It's getting better but there is still a constantly police posted up there. Makes me wonder are the cameras still working.. although there had been quite a lot of drug dealing there. But not so much anymore. Seems they have migrated to a near by area, as what always seems to happen, when drug use and dealing becomes excessive at the rondstant center
