I gave a 2 only because the driver did answer my call.however did an on line pick up 2 weeks in advance. I was told I would receive a call 30 minutes before arrival. No call. I call them and was the told that the piece of furniture could not be PICKED up. My daugther and I had to Close the storge unit. So we moved our selves.
I debated whether or not to post this, but it needs to be said. I called to schedule a pick up with SA, and was never able to speak to a person. I went online instead and scheduled the pickup 2 weeks in advance for a tall curio cabinet I have in storage. On the day of the pickup at the end of the day the driver called to say SA wasn't picking up furniture at this time driver was by himself. He gave me the # to his office, and his boss said they have nothing to do with website, even though the website has the option for furniture pickup. My 70 year old mother and I ended up moving the curio by ourselves. It was either that or pay $208 for another month of storage for 1 item. So thanks SA for screwing me over. My advice: don't use the website. Go to the location and arrange your pickup because calling is useless.
This store is absolutely amazing! A great place to find just about everything you need. And the staff are always so kind and helpful.
Really nice place. Clean, well organized, friendly. A little pricey on some items. But i understand. I donated quite a bit of furniture last year and the fellas came inside my home to pick it up. I didn't have to leave it on the curve. Proceeds go to the less fortunate. We need to help every way we can. GOD BLESS.
I love the organixation what they stand for and How they help the community Im also a former employee I was just there donating items fro myself and my daughter I told the vounteer Kevin my daughter had changed her mind about some of the shoes so I needed to dump some of the bags he called the dock supervisor Jay and lied to him and statsd I didnt just donate I know they provide treatment and housing for the volunteers but do beter in monitoring them because they lie and steal.
Huge! Great prices and selection. 25% military discounts on top of already cheap - albiet heavily used - stuff. I would go here with the expectation to just stumble into something you like rather than search for specific items unless you're after furniture or clothing they're probably going to always have inventory for those.
Me & My Fiance went to the Salvation Store today, they really have nice things in the store, well organized, staff very friendly, the young lady behind the counter Mrs. Sam SUPER AMAZING, VERY PROFESSIONAL, SMILE WAS BEAUTIFUL & SHE WAS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR & BECAUSE OF HER WE WILL BE BACK TO SEE HER & SHOP!
They came to pick up the desk. Two guys came. One of the guy was just standing there doing nothing, while another guy was sliding the heavy desk through the stairs from second floor and broke the stair pole. It was just ridiculous that one of the guy didn't even bother to help, and another guy was trying to slide it by himself in small space.
Found some nice items here and the staff were kind! The place was nicely clean from the reopening! I’ll have to come check it out more often!
Most of the regular items are reasonably priced for a thrift store. Items like shirts, pants, books, etc. But other items are outrageously priced. For example I would not suggest going to this store looking for a jacket. There are some items priced three times what it would sell for new.
