I received great service with making arrangements and meeting with staff. My husband’s Celebration of Life was held at “The Little Chapel of Roses “. It’s a beautiful chapel and had 2 helpful persons assisting before, during and after the service. In the office, There seemed to be a great sales pressure to purchase plots. Although informative, professional and kind, the pressure was definitely a downside. After numerous requests to correct the obituary on their website site, my name was misspelled along with some grammatical errors, it was never corrected. Glen Abbey is a beautiful place and it is pricey. I expected better attention to details.
It is so unbelievable we put fresh flowers yesterday for my Mom’s 2nd death anniversary today. My sister brought her electric grass weed cutter as the grass were high already. We clean the site, then we went there this morning and all the flowers were gone. To the management you need to have heart for the people that pay respects to their love ones. If that will happen to you, what you will do then. The flowers were all orchids.
My family and I were extremely happy we used Glen Abbey Memorial Park for Mama’s funeral arrangements. From start to finish they were kind, professional, and courteous. Lana, from the funeral side, and Yvonne, from the burial side, deserve special mention. They were so very patient and helpful. Their facilities and assistance through the entire process allowed us to provide the beautifully grand funeral service for our Mama, that she deserved! I highly recommend Glen Abbey Memorial Park. If you are considering becoming a new customer, I suggest you to think twice. They just straight up lie to my face every time I go to their office. My father-in-law passed away five months ago, and I have been going to the office since then to ask and almost beg them to add grass and a small year-date plaque to his space. Every time I go, there is always an excuse. I say it's an excuse because I have seen other lots with more recent passing dates with their grass and plaques already installed. Instead of focusing on installing their new shiny screens at the entrance and selling new lots up the hill, they should focus on the people who have already placed their trust in them. My family cannot heal the pain and suffering the loss has caused us because every time we visit the area, it looks depressing. Instead, I have to stress out and wonder when these people will get their job done. It's really sad that you have to get to this point for them to maybe listen, but I guess that's how they like to do business. So as I said, if you want to invest here, just see how they treat their existing customers, and imagine how they will treat you later down the road.
From the moment we got the service from Glen Abbey, it was a great experience. The staff the handles our needs were all polite, friendly and helpful. They are professionals and really doing their job from the heart. I called them when the needs arises that time and it didn’t last for hours but they were there right away. That’s wonderful! When we did our funeral for a day of service, it was splendid! I have nothing to say but, they lighten the burden of our emotions when all the experience we had from them, was also memorable. They didn’t give us a problem from the beginning till the end of their service to us. Thank you so much from the whole staff of Glenn Abbey that helped us. We will not forget the experience that we had from all of you.

We’ve been very patient but this is too much. It’s been almost 2years and we’re still waiting of my daughter’s headstone. Every time we go to main office they keep giving “LoLi’s contact info” But seems like that person doesn’t exist anymore. *update After a month of leaving review, my baby’s headstone was placed! The staff of Glen Abbey especially Guillermo Vaca and Kim Philips, we’re very supportive and were there from day 1 to the end of our brother’s memorial/funeral. They made it a very difficult time as smooth as possible and got us through one of the toughest days of our lives. I highly recommend Glen Abbey to any family who’s needs this type of service. They were extremely helpful, kind and accommodating. We had a memorial service at our church and a committal at the military national cemetery in Miramar. They handled everything and did a wonderful job on all of the services they provided for us. Highly recommend.
