Our vision is to provide competent and collaborative mental health services to all those in need.
Established in 1991, San Gabriel Children’s Center includes 3 six-bed group homes in the East San Gabriel Valley Community for 12-18 year old boys, a Transitional Housing Program, a program that helps prevent children from being removed from their families, and an array of other mental health services.
The mission of San Gabriel Children’s Center, Inc. is to provide our clients and families with the tools they need to overcome past obstacles, manage stressors and to conquer future challenges in a socially acceptable manner. The goal is to develop the strengths with in each child and family by providing a safe, nurturing, and appropriately challenging environment for behavioral and emotional growth as well as to connect the client to community resources. The belief is that our clients will flourish when provided a strong foundation based upon role modeling, consistency, care, and mutual respect.
