Our first visit here. The gentleman working was exceptional! He gave one of our kids a quick little "how-to", he was very willing to let us bowl another game even though it was closing time and he could have been going home, and he was just a really nice, attentive guy. Alley was clean and balls organized by pounds. We had fun!
This is a super friendly place to throw heavy balls. The guy attending to the front desk he might have been the owner was pleasant and offered encouragement. We were visiting the island, and for some reason decided to spend an hour inside after the farmer's market. We all walked away with smiles.
Wonderful small facility on San Juan Island. Great congenial and knowledgeable owner Scott always makes everyone feel welcome.
The owner charged me double the price that was listed on his rates sheet and then when I showed him the receipt he told me it was too bad and he wouldn't do anything about it. I came in the next day with the receipt and he argued with me until I threatened to call the police if he did not refund the portion of my money that was not appropriately charged and he gave me cash from the till and then told me I was not welcome at the business. Such a great little town and it is too bad that the owner operates the way that he does. He makes the whole experience extremely uncomfortable and with so many other options for entertainment on the island I would stick to bowling when you are not visiting the island. Also there is no alcohol/beer available and the owner is too lazy to get a liquor license and the pizza place has horrible food. I will pass on this one.
I wish I could have scored this place higher, but then i'd be lieing. The pizza dude wasnt that polite or fast, but the pizza was good. The bowling alley was alittle out dated. But I'm sure they could improve on that. Kids are more interested in the video games than bowling. Friendly environment though.
24 dollars for three games with two people. Really nice grippy lanes, can get a good spin with house balls. Only eight lanes total and had to leave because a private event was happening
The owner was great, very nice bowling alley and a lot of fun for the limited options in Friday Harbor.
Had very good time there, Scott takes really good care of his lane there. Recommend if you are out this way give it a shot
Unique small bowling alley, bumpers availible for birthday parties, league's availible, electronic games. Events.
If you want to bowl, this is the place. Great owners and very entertaining.
