I was there in August on crutches. The staff there were excellent. They were helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. The rooms were nice and comfortable. I would like to give a shout out to the other Sandman Hotel around the corner. I go dropped off there in error. The gentleman there could see how much difficulty I was in and help me out. Provided a cab to the other hotel and assisted with my luggage. We had never stayed in a Sandman Hotel before this but have now stayed in 2 both in BC and I would recommend them and would stay again.
An excellent hotel situated near the airport. The rooms were in impeccable shape and presented professionally. The location is good as it is near Costco and hosts a restaurant called Moxie's that serves up fancy food and its bar is also good. The steaks served up by Moxie were delicious and tender, making the meals that much more memorable. The service is nice and friendly, especially the staff up front. Overall, a memorable hotel that gets 5 stars. Rooms: Excellent Food & drinks: Good Noteworthy details: Moxie is good
Stayed here both ends of a five week trip to Europe. Out of eight hotels in all , this one is by far the most comfortable. Also appreciate the proximity to airport and the free shuttle. Appreciate to the green initiatives. Suggest replacing small package amenities with larger refillable ones in bathroom. Hannah at reception is professional and personable - found us the perfect room! The room was OK. We got a decent sleep considering we were leaving very early in the morning. The room smelled musty when we entered it at first. The carpet seemed damp. Opening the window helped. The A/C seemed on it's last leg. It rattled, there was cold air, but it never seemed to get as cool as it was set to. For the price of the room, I expected better.
The upgraded rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Convenient hotel shuttle to the airport. While there's not too much around, there is a Tim Hortons across the street and a Moxies on site, as well as a small strip mall a short walk away. Overall the staff are great and helpful. Hannah on the front desk was very kind. Will definitely be back.
Wonderful stay. Comfortable bed, great room. Desk staff helpful and in-house restaurant food was delicious. Shuttle driver efficient and friendly. Overall great value for my money - I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be choosing your hotel again for future visits. Rooms: Comfortable bed, ample space, large rain shower head in bathroom. Walkability: Easy 15 minute walk to Skytrain station. Food & drinks: Moxie's on-site had small but delicious breakfast menu.
Hannah at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. After a long tiring journey, Hannah was able to help us get an early check in! There was also complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. The transition from airport to hotel was very smooth. I recommend. Thanks again!
I found the staff extremely friendly and courteous. We are diamond members, so it could have a little influence on their attitudes, but I don't believe it was. Our room was upgraded to their jacuzzi room, which is strange as it has a tub in the middle of the room. It felt old school, but the kids were impressed. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Staff courteous and helpful, room spacious, clean and well-appointed. Perfect location for me - close to airport and my work in Vancouver and Surrey. On-site Moxie's is a real plus.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed for a business trip, two nights, and three days. Conference room downstairs by lobby. One side isn't much of a view, the other side facing the airport. Right beside the airport, so it is noisy. Shuttle bus runs all day back and forth. Restaurant is in the building, gym and pool here. Hot tub wasn't making bubbles ? Room had a fan,air-conditioning. TV Channel changing was challenging. Lol.
