We have used them since Dr. Sands took over . I like the new place - more space. They went thru some issues when they first relocated but now they seem to be back on track. Prices are fair and usually appointments are made fairly quickly.
I’ve been coming here for years, and this place used to be great before they relocated and got new vets. My dog has lick granuloma and for over a year I’ve been coming here to get it treated. The wound hasn’t healed in the countless times I’ve been here, and it’s disappointing that they charge me money for every single refill on her medication. On top of her medication expenses, they also charge me over $100 to get the vet to come in the room to tell me that “hey, yeah it does look like it’s healing, lets get her another refill”. Like what? I could’ve done that?? Not to mention, the last time I went, they didn’t give me a full refill and promised to give me a call back when they got the remaining medicine, but I still haven’t heard back from them. I’ve been wasting my time, my money, and I won’t be bringing my dog back here ever again!
Dr. Sands and her team are the BEST! Ginya, Ella and Ren are awesome! They always go above and beyond for my fur babies! They truly care about my cats and doing what is best for them! Thank you Dr. Sands for everything!! I really appreciate you and your amazing team!
We fortunate that they were having late hours as we found our little dog in distress. Dr. Sandy has all the latest diagnostic tool on hand. After two days of medication our little Coco is up and running around like her old self.
If you care about your fur babies, then do not go to this place. They are incompetent, forgetful, and they will end up wasting your time over and over again. When I brought my dog’s stool samples, they didn’t even do the fecal test on my dog and they were too embarrassed to admit that they forgot to do it. When they completed my puppy’s health certificates, they did not have the accurate information on the certificate and I had to keep coming back to pick up the papers after their repeated mistakes. Definitely learned my lesson to never go there again, after many times of being disappointed by their lack of competence; not just the vet and techs, but the receptionists as well.
Beware of this place. Our yorkie has been receiving care since Dr Michaels had the place. Since relocating to a new location and new staff. I receive total humiliation. My daughter and I are taking our yorkies elsewhere. You guys are unprofessional and rude. What a way to tell your client that has over a decade of service that you can no longer service them through postal mail. If I could give zero stars I would because you definitely don’t deserve the 1 star. I am a person who suffers from PTSD and the level of disrespect is unacceptable to all disable people. It’s not our fault that your staff promised to have the meds ready for our yorkie three hours before our arrival, however when we arrived still had a two hour wait and no apology.
This is the best place in town to care for our beloved pets. They took such good care of my senior dog, Merphee. His last few months were difficult for us both. His meds were no longer working for his congestive heart failure. Together with my daughter and Dr. Paige, we decided to do what was best for him. I had dreaded that day, but the staff supprted me all during the process of his passing with compassion, letting me hold him while he took his last breath. After I picked up his ashes nestled in a lovely wooden box that holds his picture, they sent two cards. One with his paws prints near a tree, the other with a face imprint showing where his nose and mouth were and his paw prints above a circle of fur. Both were laminated. That gesture meant so much to me!
Great place! Work well with my dogs. A little pricey, but everyone does a great job. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
This team saved my dog's life. They comforted me, reassuring me they were taking care of him. Great team!!!
My dogs and my cats been going to Sandy Paw since around 2005. In 2009 I had a dog that I paid for shots for life. Unfortunately I lost him in 2015 he was 7 years old. I got a new dog in 2015 and again paid for shots for life. They moved to a new building and they stop the shots for life but gave us no notice of discontinued . My dog goes to the vet 1st a year. So I found out until my dogs yearly . There prices went up. So I got my dog out of this veterinarian plus had my brother dog relocated and we are more happier.
