This beautiful, two and one half story Victorian mansion was built by Dr. Joseph Loop in 1872. In addition to the personal effects of the Loop family, the house contains fine collections of recovered shipwreck items and military relics as well as our genealogy collection. Two tours are available at 12 Noon and 3 PM from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend Wednesday - Sunday. Group tours available upon request with 2 weeks advance notice. The museum is closed on Monday and Tuesday during the summer.
