We watched Oppenheimer and the movie was amazing to say the least. The popcorn was fresh, hot and oh so buttery. The theatre is in great condition and the bathroom was clean. My only complaint was that the movie sound was just too loud. There were parts where my wife actually covered her ears. So, four stars instead of five, only based on the volume being way too loud. we might go back anyhow
We decided to go watch a movie last minute and AMC had one close enough to the time we were looking for. First time going to this particular location. Overall not bad. You can buy tickets there or by using one of the mobile apps where you can pick your seats ahead of time, which was what we did, with no issues . Overall cleanliness was decent in the theater and the bathrooms. The concession stand took a bit and when ended up coming back out after the previews because the initial line was taking a while. As with a lot of places currently they seemed a little short on staff, but once we got to the front and got our items everything was good, typical theater prices for concessions. The seating wasn’t bad , a bit old school, could stand to update to keep up with other theaters who have upgraded seating. But the movie picture was clear and crisp and the surround sound was on point. Overall a decent experience and I would use this theater again.
I went to see the movie Sound of Freedom that was supposed to play at 7:40pm on a Thursday evening with my mother and when we arrived we were told twice to go to different counters to obtain tickets. We finally get to the “correct” counter and are told by a girl on her phone that “oh the movie is sold out.” There was 7 cars in the theater parking lot. And no one inside. We decided on the way out the exit that 1 of the 7 theaters were playing this movie. Every theater was empty and the one that sounded like was the movie was completely empty. We came back and asked which theater it was at and the girl said she had to ask another worker. Immediately the other worker along with 4 others came up to us and said “oh, we are sorry it’s actually a non working screen.” I asked why that wasn’t just said to begin with and they tried to make every excuse under the sun as to why there was no way they could show the film. DISGUSTING. To have managers allow employees to make up stories and then LIE themselves as to why the movie is not playing is despicable. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hollywood is going to far to make sure people don’t see this movie that they are paying theaters to not show it. Regardless, this was the most unprofessionally handled AMC experience I have ever come across in my life. Do not go to this theater. The managers were so uncouth and unhelpful I can’t imagine how bad it would’ve been if it had been a planned event.
This theatre isn't the greatest or even close. The seats don't recline and they are ripped up. The theatre itself was super hot on an already hot day in Florida. I ordered the pretzel bites with cheese and the bites were hard as a rock and the cheese looked like it expired in 2003. In my opinion, Regal Oakmont theatre is the best in the area.
Went to see the Sound of Freedom and the theater began to stink like smoke and the room got hazy. People began to evacuate on their own. The workers said everything was fine and didn’t want to call the fire department, they told us they sprayed something to make it smell better. One of the patrons called the fire department because it was scary and the staff were really young and probably didn’t think it was a big deal. As all of this was going on not one of the workers went back into the theater to see if anyone was still inside until it was suggested by an adult. The manager went up to the projection room and said it was something with the projector and it was safe to go back in even though it stunk and was hazy. Majority of the people refused to go back in because who wants the breathe scented chemicals and haze in. The fire department did arrive and confirmed it was the projector but the staff handled the situation very poorly and needs more training, maybe a few adults on site would help too because 17 year olds clearly aren’t capable during crisis. They did refund our ticket and gave us a complimentary ticket to return another day. I really just would’ve rather been able to see the entire movie without all the drama. My review is solely based on this experience, the theater was clean and the temperature was good, lines for snacks were very long and slow. Most likely the place is understaffed with a few kids working, one was particularly rude and obnoxious. I’m just happy it wasn’t more serious and everyone is safe.
What's the movie about Is human trafficking, So I don't have any words to describe. How I feel about the movie that day? But the theater and the popcorn Was great you get to add Your own butter Put a straw on the butter nipple and in the popcorn bucket and have at it. Yummy
They don't have reclining chairs and the style of seats is from the 90's and they all squeak very loudly. Very odd for 2023. The screen also didn't have very vibrant colors... but I saw "barbie" and it was awesome so it was a good experience but only because the movie itself was so great.
We have Regal passes and visited to see if we wanted to switch to the AMC A-List. We are new to the area and the AMC in our old city had amazing food and nicer theaters than Regal. The staff here was genuinely nice to the point of us considering switching just based on our positive interactions. The whole theater and bathrooms are very clean. However, a good portion of the things on the menu were unavailable. When asked if this was temporary or not, a staff member gave me an impression that they were unsure if/when this would change. So essentially the theater primarily has the usual concessions which we can get at Regal. Also, although the seats are really classy and comfortable, they are not as comfortable as Regal’s reclining seats. We might have been able to overlook this had the menu been on point, but we’re going to have to stick with Regal.
All the services are below the bare minimum. Bathrooms are disgusting. They couldn't find basic paper products for the food and drink. We 15 to get into our and we were late despite being only patrons in line. Weak overall experience. Interestingly enough that the A list actors get paid fortune while we foot the bill for a sub-standard experience. THANKS! I'm sure your private plane bathrooms are nice and clean. I'm buying an 85" screen and just waiting for the movie to stream for cheap. I already bought the popcorn machine and supplies.
Comfortable movie theater with good-sized screens and great sound system. The seats are comfortable, and the leg room is good. The only issue is that the seats don't recline.
