Great steak and chicken subs! Can't say much about the rest sadly, as myself and others tend to not stray from what we love. Extra meat is well worth it! After going there more in recent years I just now discovered they close from 10 to 11. That was an odd experience. No one was in there, never had that happen before so I wasn't surprised when I was informed.
Philly boy here. Born and raised. Went to school with will smiths niece. Only added for the song reference… For Florida this is as good as it gets. Great food. Cheesesteak was great. They would do well in Philly and fit right in. With the vibe, decor, decorations, atmosphere and food you forget your not in Philadelphia for a minute or two. The rolls are 9/10 but the meat was 10/10. Loved it. I live here full time now and if I ever need a taste of home I now know where to find it.
Very good food, all cooked to order! The lady that takes orders provided amazing service. She offered refills while we were waiting and was very helpful. If you go during busy hours, which is most, be prepared to wait about 15-20 mins so food. So worth it though. We will be going back for sure!
The best Philly in Florida hands down! The jersey dog is on point will be back again and again. Never once had bad service even when the line was out the door. Treat them with respect they deserve it
A great local place that should be experienced for it's steak -onions - mushroom - cheese sandwich. You won't be disappointed. ENJOY!Food: 5/5
I ordered a Philly special that the menu says is served with fries and a fountain drink. The man who took my order was upfront with me and warned me he did not have fries. After realizing I had paid full price I asked if I could pay the $0.55 difference and get grits and was told they would be charged full price. After declining I was handed the sandwich pictured ordered without mushrooms and served in a brown paper bag with napkins and told to have a good day. I was not offered a drink. On a positive note the sandwich was good and was made quickly. If it had been served with fries and fountain drink per the menu I think it would of been worth the $10.65 I paid for it includes tax. That said the sandwich was alone, they were unwilling to adjust the price or substitute with a difference, and ultimately forgot a third of my order. I will not be back.
Been going here for years and now never again...walked in at 9:45 they serve breakfast till 10....or so the sign says..guy at counter told me that they were closed till lunch. Really kinda rude to me I am disappointed that I won't be going back or telling anyone to try it...

Man, I had a meeting down here in Sarasota and during lunch break I wanted anything that wasn't fast food. I got lucky and found Charlie's! As someone from Pennsylvania and very familiar with Philly cheese steak, there's is top notch!
This place has been around for decades. It's counter service and it's pretty slow, but that's a side effect of it being crowded at lunch. Food is good, great local ambience.
